i was thinking to myself about writting my own suicide squad series and i began to wonder which villians to use as cannon fodder but when i started to write down a list of possible chacacters, i didn't know which of the C-lists villians were dead or still active in villiany?
any suggestion on who would be desever to die on a squad mission

Ostrander's original Suicide Squad series already thinned that herd quite a bit.

Jason Todd.

I had a sweet idea for a Suicide Squad run. But DC would never let me or anyone write it in continuity, since one of the big parts of the climax would be Lady Shiva decapitating The Joker with a katana. :(

Jason Todd should just commit suicide.

Hang himself with his tenticles.

I don't see potential, he hasn't been interesting since he came back. But then, he hasn't ever really been interesting.

Hmmmm.

No.

Great potential, good character, crappy writing.

Next!

Nothing worthwhile has been done with Jason Todd since his resurrection. Under the Hood was a meh Batman story and it really didnt make give two ****s sbout Jason Todd. No potential, crappy character, crappy writing. Next!

Theres a reason people voted to kill him off.

That was before he brought octopus enlightenment to the masses. Long live Jason Todd!

Read the latest issue of Wizard. The staff there put together a hell of a Suicide Squad. Hopefully DC uses them in the future.

Resurrection Man, Master Jailer, Atomic Skull, Calendar Man, Phobia, Jason Todd, Doctor Poison, and Bloodhound.

Pick up the issue for the details, but one read and you'll be wishing this was real.

Definitly a group to rival the Secret Six.

Meh, might just be me, but that isn't a terribly exiciting Suicide Squad to me. Anyone got scans though? Maybe they made it sound interesting enough.

They said that Calander Man would sort of be like a cross between Proffesor X and Hanibal Lectre. He doesn't go on missions, just sits in his cell and feeds them information and tactics.

Sorry, but I've found his stories pre-OYL to be really great. Including the Tim ass-whipping.

That might be incentive enough to actually buy a copy of Wizard .

Wow, that's about as far from a perfect Suicide Squad as I think anyone could ever possibly think up. Thanks for remaining consistent, Wizard.

You find it impressive that a guy who received the same training Tim did, plus another decade or so of other training, and who can match Batman himself blow-for-blow, beat Tim? I was unimpressed purely because he didn't do it in his sleep with both hands tied behind his back. Tim actually put up a damn good fight against Jason, which just adds more confirmation to the fact that Jason sucks.

Yay! Saved me some cash, man. Thanks. :D

I'm not surprised that they chose the Atomic Skull's outift and flame color from the cartoon just for recognition sake (who reads comics nowadays?), but I am surprised that they don't mention he's dead, as they did for Resurrection Man.

I agree with Corp. The way I see it, this Suicide Squad would work awesomely well as a team, not so much for an actual series.

I want my Ostrander Suicide Squad. :(
