This came out really good! My only suggestion would be to think about adding 1 more light source to increase the dramatic effect. Even a dim light right above his head could make the picture look much more powerful. You wouldn't even need to change what you've painted, just use a Multiply layer in photoshop and slap the shadows right on top of what you have.
