Vince McMahon restarted the Wrestling Thread and ruined it

WWE probably doesn't care enough about the history of the title to debut it on the 50th anniversary of the belt.

I have no idea but one thing I do know is WWE doesn't care too much about having great anniversary celebrations or anniversaries that make sense. We saw that with Raw's 20th anniversary.

This is also the same company that promoted Wresltmania 25 as "The twenty fifth anniversary of Wrestlemania. Thats like promoting Wrestlemania 1 and the FIRST anniversary of Wrestlemania.

Lol, yeah I see what you guys mean. I just want to see a new belt that isn't so Cena orientated, shall we say. I just hope the new belt is as easy on the eye and to swallow as can be, given the most recent belts the WWE has churned out.

Hell, I was more excited about the UFC event on Saturday than the Royal Rumble on Sunday.

What's Ziggler have to do to be put over?

He deserves a shot...too bad Cena is in the way.

The Wrestling Thread never lost it, baaaybaaay!!!!!

Vince McMahon restarted the Wrestling Thread and ruined it

The Wrestling Thread has now become too predictable

Ziggler's briefcase is for the World Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Alberto "It is my Destiny" Del Rio.

With Lesnar having signed a two-year deal now, couldn't they push Lesnar/HHH II and have Lesnar/Punk now for the WrestleMania season? Probably not, but it would fit so much better now...if Heyman does pull The Shield's strings, he could have them attack Punk because of Heyman's chance of being fired tonight and then when Punk tries to get his revenge, Heyman brings out his big gun: Brock Lesnar.

I still like Finally, After 10 Years, The Wrestling Thread Is Once Again The People's Champion.

Brock has not signed a new contract, but it seems likely.

Brock has not signed a new contract, but it seems likely.

According to PWInsider.com, Brock Lesnar has signed a new, two year deal with WWE that will see Lesnar remain under contract with the company through WrestleMania 31.

Lesnar's current WWE deal was set to expire after WrestleMania 29.

That's false?

Hell might have just frozen over if this is true:

There has been new speculation on WWE having reached some sort of deal with Bruno Sammartino and inducting him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

PWInsider.com is reporting they have heard rumors from sources in WWE that a deal has been reached and might stipulate that Sammartino won't have any interaction with Vince McMahon at all during the weekend.

Again, PWInsider is not confirming but just reporting this as a rumor heard. It has been widely reported for quite awhile now that Triple H has been trying hard to get Sammartino to accept WWE's invitation to the Hall of Fame.

I enjoyed watching the Rumble butthe results to the two top matches made me sick.

Punk's reign deserved a better end. Going in I knew there was no way Rock was losing but it was too much. It seems when he's around he becomes even more powerful than Cena. Who's stronger than Superman? We need a name for Rocky that overshadows Supercena.

Rocks whole promo friday was about ending Punk with a Rock Bottom, then he kills the longest reign in 25 years with his ****** elbow? Disgraceful.

Please, no rematch at the chamber ppv. No need to make Punk Rock's ***** again.

Only way i'll be happy with this and think they can salvage it and make it work for the future once all the part timers leave post Mania is to pull a double turn at WM with Punk and Cena.

Assuming they go with the rumored matches, Punks whole heel turn was based around wanting the respect he earned. If he beats Taker, and Taker shakes his hand, he's vindicated. Itll be his defining moment and he'll finally get what he wanted, he can turn face.

Later, as others have suggested, Cena goes full beast and turns heel, destroying Rock for the title.

This way after Mania the only draws they have left will have actually been elevated and left with refreshed characters to carry the company for the coming months.

Vince McMahon isn't going to allow Cena to turn heel.

I know. Just wishful thinking and wondering how they can dig themselves out of the hole created last night.

WWE doesn't have the balls WCW had back in the day when they turned Hogan Heel.

They can't because Vince McMahon is a mental nutcase.

Reading the other thread, you know things are bad when LuisTX (who is ever the optimist) is upset about what happened last night.

WZ has learned there's been a lot of discussion that WWE would have a custom designed title belt for The Rock to debut tonight as WWE Champion.

We're told there is no guarantee this will take place, but there were drawings and designs for a custom title for The Rock, similar to how Stone Cold had a custom "Smoking Skull" belt during his title reign. The belief amongst those who are in the know of the new title design is that The Rock would logically debut it the first night of his title run, however it's possible he will continue using the spinner version of the title.

Didn't the Rock have a Brama Bull Title once. Ugh why make a custom title for a guy that will only keep a title for 2 months unless they are going to keep the design with other people.

Well that was it for me, what ****ing load of **** the PPV was.

About the TNA spoilers I posted in the last thread:

- Some interesting stuff going on there. Too bad they don't have a Ted Turner waiting in the wings to buy the company.

Didn't hear about that. If so, that's cool.

Oh, I thought it was mentioned before on here, but I guess I'm the first to spill the news, lol.

Vince McMahon isn't going to allow Cena to turn heel.

Yep. Unless WWE finds their new face of the WWE then they might want to dip Cena in the "heel water" just like Rock before he left to become a movie star.

Rock did have a Brahma Bull custom belt, but it was never revealed or anything and the idea was scrapped, but **** me...this isn't a good idea either.

It should have been Punk, seriously.
