Transformers Voice actors......???

So, is the reason the bots have no mouths so they could wait until 2 months before the movie comes out to cast the VA's, or do you think they have them cast, and are just keeping it under wraps? It's not like they have to animate the mouths for the bots anyway, but damn, cutting it kind of close?

And considering Prime is already cast, Megs is on the verge of being cast, IronHide, Jazz, Racthet, and Barricade are the only ones who have lines, barely any, they either already have a cast or are just waiting

either way, whoever they hire, it'd take about 5 minutes to blow through all of Racthet's, Ironhide's and Jazz's lines

Well of course the gas mask mouths could mean they could wait until the week before to just slap the lines on there, but most of the Deceps have mouths, AND some of them actually have lines.

I guess this points once again to no "adding of more bot dialogue". If they had more than 0-2 lines each they surely would have put more speed behind casting for the bots. Granted, they DO have 5 months to get this done, but they're obviously not too worried about it.

Once Frank Welker is cast, there's no need to cast anymore VA. If he still has his edge he can do any and every other voice in the movie, beside Prime.

Well it will be pointless getting some famous people just to do a few lines, though it would be nice if they get some good VA's, perhaps some original TF VA's *crosses fingers for Cullen to do Ironhide*

They claim that the Megatron/ Starscream rivalry will still be there, though it seems to have been a frantic change under the pressure of complaints. Again, I regard this production crew at the same level of the X3 production crew. I don't put it past them to spin the truth in such a way that no statement they say is truly 'lying' in their eyes. I'm with DOG_LIPS on this one. That there is even a fight to bring the original VA's who remain to reprise their roles is erroneous considering that the Transformers in general have a handful of lines in the whole film, and that's adding in the dail-up noi- umm...'Cybertronian' lines.

Actually he'd be a good voice for any of the Autobots. He's got quite a distintive voice that would work well for say Ratchet or IronHide.

It would at least ensure that the ultimate evil scrap heap monster would sound appropriately deceptive. He can even put lines in, like "I look just like a true Transformer" or "shoulder cannons are for losers", just to add some salt in the wound.
