I bought the S1 DVD set this summer b/c "EVERYONE" talked it up SOOOO much, and how it was SOOO clever. Not just TV critics & magazines, but friends of mine too....

...So I've watched, like, the first four episodes and this is the most shallow self-absorbed show I've seen. I can't enjoy it b/c none of the characters are likable. I mean, a couple of them are funny (Jeremy Piven & Kevin Dillon) but no one has any redeemable quality!

I mean, they're getting high in every episode I know it's supposed to be smug w/all the celebrity cameos, but you get the feeling celebs do it, and are still smug a##holes at the end of the day.

REAL disappointment! I don't wanna PAY to watch actors pretend to take drugs and waste money...I get the feeling that's all they do in hollywood, and i think that sucks!

What's with the Aqua-hate, BTW? All I know is if James Cameron really directed Aquaman it could be GREAT. There really is a LOT of potential with that character.
