Another film that seemed to get a luke warm reception.
Again i really liked it, expecting it to be fairly bad.
Now I havent seen the original or its sequal, but I beleive its all based on a true story. Im not going to get in to that as I know nothing about it.

Anyone have any thoughts on this film? I thought it was good and the Rock did pretty well.

Hell,it even had a small montage (moooooooooooooooontaaaaaaaaaage!!!!!)

Funny enough, I nicknamed this movie with my friends as "4 X 2: The Movie". Litterly in the trailer, you see The Rock running around like a madman hitting people with that 4 X 2.

4 x 2 sounds so strange, even for someone like myself who lives in Ireland, we use metric.
But im sure you mean 2x4?

Personaly, I didn't like the remake, I think orginal and it's sequals(granted it's been years since I've either one or read the story) were a little closer to the true story of Buford Pusser than the 2004 version.

It had it moments but The Rock couldn't replace Joe Don Baker....IMO

Favorite Rock movie. Too short through. Runs only 73 minutes without end credits.

It was ok. I thought The Rock did pretty good. It's my least favorite of his movies that I have seen, though.

I haven't seen it, but I like The Rock. I never expected him to be a pretty good actor.

I have the original on DVD. Never cared to see the remake.

I thought it was an excellent film, I prefer the original but this one is pretty damn good, too.

I like this film but the only thing I hate about it is its running time. The film is about 80 mins!

The real Buford Pusser was a consultant on the orginal before he was killed and IMO it was a much better movie than this one.

The real story of Buford Pusser:yay:

The real Buford.

It was one of those films like Doom where I wanted to look away but I couldn't, you can just turn your brain off for an hour and abit.

Same here.. I like compact movies, but this one seemed to end so quickly.
Great movie though.
