WandaVision WandaVision General Discussion Thread

True as I thought the battle between T'Challa and Killmonger was an epic battle. I would like for Monica to be involved in the epic battle, but right now she doesn't have any powers that indicate "combat" such as blasts or orbs or anything like that. That could change in the next episode though.

I woudnt mind to trade an epic fight in very very emotional scenes between Wanda and Vision where she accept his death and ends the hex. The only little worry I have is that Hawkeye didnt show up since he recruited her (and to promote his own show in fall) and they have a special connection. But I guess thats a Avengers didnt assemble to help there crewmate in a solo movie situation.

i always thought the dr. strange vs. thanos mini battle in infinity war was just the tip of the iceberg (and my favorite battle in IW). wandavision can take that reality warping to another level.

I've just realised that Jac Schaeffer is a woman. I thought the head writer was a man all this time.

I’ve been a little busy recently so I wasn’t able to watch the show as it aired but I binged all 7 episodes today and I’m reaaaally enjoying it. Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes now.
I guess everyone knew about Agatha Harkness but I still think it was still done pretty well. I was actually confused if she was manipulating Wanda or if she was just stuck in the hex by chance. Agatha All Along is totally stuck in my head though. I wonder if she’ll be in the Multiverse of Madness. Kathryn Hahn is amazing so that would be pretty great.

Would anybody associated know Barton though? Woo's connection to the Avengers is Scott Lang and Darcy's was to Thor. Monica's was to Carol.

I would expect we'll see more of Monica's powers in the next episode, perhaps some sort of blasts or orbs. I'll be surprised if episode 7 is all we see of her powers, neither of them being ones that could be of use fighting aliens in a future movie.

Not happening since Feige said that Wanda is coming to Doctor Strange next.

If Jennifer Kale appears, expect her in Ghost Rider.

Who doesn't Disney release the episode titles beforehand? It's not like they give away any important plot points.

Well "We interrupt this program", "On A Very Special Episode" or "Breaking the Fourth Wall" would give away the fact that something is going to happen and is a rather big tell. They are rather indicative of the plot, so I can see why they wouldn't release them prior to Friday.

To me these phrases seem so generic that it would be hard to reach any conclusions based solely on them.

I am hoping Monica gets more powers on Friday. As cool to see her finally get her powers, so far they have not been all that impressive to me. She needs to unleash powers for combat (blasts and such) and I hope she does before this show ends.

We'll probably see the full spectrum of her powers eventually.

Yeah but I think she should at least have one offensive power on the show. She has none so far. Look at her future Avengers teammates, all of them have some sort of offensive power (size in case of Hulk and Antman, Weapons, a suit that gives them offensive power or even shooting blasts and orbs from their body as in the case of Wanda), something in which she does not have at the moment. By the time we see her in Captain Marvel, she should at least have some offensive power. Carol's power set has been impressive so far. She will get her full powers eventually, but at least have her come into Captain Marvel 2 with some offensive power.

Be careful on social media, gang. Giant spoiler for tomorrow's episode circulating around and it's verified.

I also have "Agata After All" stuck in my head

Which social media platforms?

I don't check out social media before each episode, but somehow they still have a way of popping up even if you're not following anything or actually going on the platform.

I'd avoid Twitter, just in case it starts to trend.

I'm pretty mad to have gotten spoiled with it myself.

Finally all caught up. The show started out okay, but it really kicked off in the fourth episode. I've always loved Wanda and this show made me appreciate her more as a powerhouse. Sis would be a formidable villainess if she puts her mind to it, I'm glad she's (sometimes) one of the good guys.

I like Vision, but I don't think the show did much with him (makes sense since this show is more about Wanda's trauma). The twins are adorable, hope they get to stay. Agnes was hilarious and perfectly played by Kathryn Hahn. I hope she's not a one and done character. Sorry, still don't care about Darcy.

And finally Monica! I love her so much. Parris played her so well, IMO she's the breakout star of the show. I can't wait to see her in Captain Marvel 2. She fits so well into the MCU, it's almost like she's always been there.

I'm still holding out hope that we'll still get our Pietro back. That was what I was hoping for when they announced the show.
