A little disappointed with the animation. Not as smooth and refined as I had hoped. Still looking forward to it though.
I got a lot of Mortal Kombat 9 vibes from that trailer, particularly in character appearances- Shang Tsung looks similar here to how he did in the 2011 game, his older version, at least- and other things like Quan Chi tempting Scorpion, the focus on Sonya, Liu Kang, Raiden, and Johnny Cage. That and already sold on this voice cast. May have to pick this one up.
I love that they're using the MKX designs even if the animation style if not superb.
I hope this does well enough to warrant an animated adaptation of MKII which to me is where the story REALLY starts getting good.
Like I love the OG Tournament as much as the next guy, but its been done SOOO many times now.
Looks fun! Animation could be better, though!
While he doesn't rank high on my list of favorite MK villains, I'd like to see stuff more done with Shinnok. Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn are probably more memorable to the general audience, even Quan Chi, too with him playing a part in adaptations like MK: Legacy and even being included in the Mortal Kombat 1 portion of MK 9's story, even though he hadn't appeared at that point.
I was always rather neutral on Shinnok.
Oddly enough my fave villain after Shao Kahn was Onaga.
Story-wise, this looks more like what I was hoping for in the live-action adaptation.
It's not Street Fighter 2 The Animated Movie, but I'll give it a chance.
Not amazing animation but looks like a fun watch
Animation could be better but we've gotten worse from this series
Looks like the first MK live-action film to me. Forgot Scorpion was the main character until the title was announced at the end of the trailer.
I miss the 90’s animation from shows like Batman the animated series, X-men, and Spider-man. Just not a fan of this animation style. Just seems lazy IMO.
As the good lot of you pointed out, the animation is a bit stiff.
Sonya sorta looks like Alucard in Symphony of the Night and the animated Castlevania series.
Do you mean art style?
As is the case with the later DC (DTV) animated movies, it seems like they've fallen into a budget-friendly standard which they've maintained for years now, and much of the same team is responsible for this.

For some reason I was hoping for a small sneak peak at the new live action movie in the bonus features. Idk why tho lol just something from it.
Anyone remember this? lol
Red Band Trailer....up on their Youtube page
Red Band trailer is the ****ing ****.
Still feels like a general MK film rather than Scorpion-focused.
