Back in the day Alec Baldwin would've been a perfect Batman.

Well another option people haven't thought about is these characters spinning off into their own movies as a result of the success of a Justice League movie. I'm sure the rest of the team would get their fair share of screen-time. It is a team movie after all and it's not like these characters are so similar that they would be interchangeable. One thing about this with "the big 3" and knowing they would be in a Justice League movie, they would definately overshadow Green Lantern, The Flash, etc.
Now I know that many people would love to see The top seven (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman), even I agree that would be fun to see,but I see these films would focus more on Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman than these other heroes. You would see other the characters, but the other Leaguers I couldn't see character development.
Now if the comic started off with some characters of Justice League: Year One and go with some other characters It might give these other charcaters to shine and get their own films developed.
Now I know some people might say "Remember the cheezy 1997 Justice League failed tv pilot that Green Lantern, Flash, The Atom, Fire, Ice, and Martian Manhunter and it failed." Sure look at the effects, the plot, the costumes, but I say if the tv movie would have had top notch effects and the script and a good villian those characters could have worked and would have had a good run.
Now I will say the general audience when they think of JL or Super Friends they think of naturally Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman being in the group. But using the other characters instead of the big three would sure help the others, because the main focus would be on the big three and not the others. The big three would have the main focus and lines leaving GL, Flash, etc. just in the background spouting a few lines here and there.
I'd like to see Green Lantern, The Flash, etc. shine as their own movies could be developed further.
If Flash had a solo film he might end up looking silly wearing a bright red suit running around. But if you have green lantern flying next to him and Wonder Woman too, and Batman and Superman, then it would be so cheesy and then they could make the solo films and non comic reading audiances might be more accepting of his costume.
Yeah, they should get The Pretender's Michael T. Weiss if they ever recast Batman.

He's already voiced Jason Blood/Etrigan in the DCU cartoons (from Batman on up). If not Batman then definately Hal Jordan/Parallax...Or Hawkman even. The man is a very versatile actor. A role like The Pretender called for that very quality. Has a very, very deep voice...He WOULD be an awesome Jason Blood though but I don't see him being in a movie...ever.
Wouldn't a Justice League movie take place after each of the members have had their own solo careers? And it is the necessity for them to combine forces? I think using Bale and/or Routh would be a mistake. That would imply that shortly after these heroes started their careers, they join forces. I'd think you'd want a seasoned Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern. Obviously, the Martian Manhunter would be "old". The others could be less "veteran" I suppose. But a 20-something Superman for a Justice League seems too young. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the comics can pinpoint the ages of the Justice League players.
Well they don't really even have to connect Batman and Superman in a JLA movie to their solo movies. A global, possibly galactic-wide, threat shows up and naturally brings the world's greatest superheroes together to fight as one. It doesn't have to be overly complicated to work.Wouldn't a Justice League movie take place after each of the members have had their own solo careers? I think he could pull off Jon Jonzz. He has height, voice and acting skills. Just slap some green paint on him.
What's wrong with Biel? What's up with this Jessica Biel crap?? Thank god you people are not actual casting directors.
