I like these types of movie but it's all in the execution of the set pieces and getting a compelling lead, as the premise is well worn.

Warner Bros. has picked up the spec script The Envoy from relative newcomer Robert Lynn, according to a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
Joel Silver is set to produce the film, which features a diplomatic courier in Vienna who comes under attack when it is revealed that he's actually delivering top-secret information about a terrorist attack on America. The film follows him on a tense race across the city to deliver the goods to the America embassy there.
Andrew Rona, who recently worked with Silver on Unknown, is also attached to produce with no other talent currently signed on.
