    I thought I'ld start a thread to allow folks to post general warnings and/or cautions.

    1. Don't listen to SONY BMG music CD's on your computer:

    2. Don't eat poppyseeds 3 days prior to a blood test for drugs, you could get a false positive for opium.

    3. Don't suck on Fishermen's Friends throat lozenges while driving, you could test positive on an alcohol breathalizer.

    there are lots of warnings I could suggest... but I don't care anymore.

    but a vibrating cell on my desk makes a sound like a snarling raccoon which makes me leap out of bed.
    It had better be god-damned important if you call on a Saturday morning damn it! :mad:

    heh, never got that one via phone.
    I mainly get the policeman's ball selling tickets and such, which sucks 'cause I can't let 'em have it because if you anger the cops they "find" a bag of cocaine in your pocket next time you call them about the neighbors partying next door. :(

    Lightning is present in all thunderstorms and can be very dangerous. Keep the following precautions in mind to avoid injury:

    Unplug sensitive appliances (microwave, television, computer, radio, etc.)

    Stay indoors and avoid windows, doors and fireplaces.

    Do not touch metal pipes, or use sinks or other electrical conductors.

    Avoid using non-cellular telephones or showering (household electrical systems are grounded to the water main).
