I've been training to do this for a little while now, has anyone heard of it or have done this before? Post your pictures, or tell your stories here!

Hmm, it's coming out to my area in April. Seems like a lot of fun...Might actually do it.

I'm doing it in June in Ohio. I'll probably do it again next January in Florida.

I've wanted to do one for awhile, but the Chicago one is pretty far from the city. I did something similar last year called the Muddy Buddy, it was a six-seven mile course I think that you did with someone else, my partner was my girlfriend. One person would run while the other biked, then every mile or so you'd hit an obstacle where you switched who biked and who ran. It was really cool, at the end there was a huge mud pit you had to crawl through, you end the race completely covered from the neck down in mud. It was a nice change from the normal just running races we usually do.

aside from the stupid names ("tunnel of terror", really?) this seems like a lot of fun. Theres one coming about 1.5 hours from me this October, I think I might try to do this. At the very least its an actual goal to help me reach my fitness goals this year.

Looks cool, I'd be up for doing something like that. It's like the Tough Guy held in England..

Looks fun as hell. Glad they shower you at the end though. I'd probably pass on the mugs of beer.

I'm petty sure I'm doing something similar called a Mud Run later this year

This looks great. The one in North Texas is in April and only about an hour away from me. I might try it.

The tunnel of terror was a let down. Unless you're claustrophobic, that's pretty weaksauce.

If anyone does it, post your pics. I can't wait until June. I'm renting a cabin for a few days prior to the event. Making a whole vacation around it.

I'm flying to Ohio to do this with my Brother and Wife. There is one in Florida this weekend, but it's too soon to do it here. But, I'll definitely will do it next Jan here.

Warrior?
THIS IS NOT SPONSORED BY A TRUE WARRIOR, HOAK HOGAN! IT HAS NO DESTRUCITY! THOSE WHO GO TO IT, HOAK HOGAN, HAVE LET THEIR ANIMAL "SELF" COVER THEIR MAN-"SELF", AND THEY WILL NEVER SEE THE TERRAIN OF TESTAMENT! THEY WILL ONLY RIDE ON THE COATTAILS OF THE JAWAS OF DESTINY ROCK, HOAK HOGAN! FOR THEY ARE NOT TRUE WARRIORS, IN ANY SENSE OF THE WORD. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE DISIPLINE OF KNOWLEDGE, NOR BELIEF. THEY HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING OF "SELF", NO BELIEF IN "SELF", NO INTEGRITY TO "SELF", AND THUS, HOAK HOGAN, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE BARRED FROM THE TERRAIN OF TESTAMENT, BY A ONE OF SANTA CLAUS'S MIRROR JAWAS.

Where's Vic Romano and Kenny Blakenship?

Sweet they're holding one at the ski resort I used to work at. Totally doing this.

Never heard of that one, but as Spoons mentioned, I have seen the "mud runs" or "tough mudders" which are similar.
It definitely looks like FUN.

Hey! I might see you there :) My wife and a bunch of people she's working with are going to do it there in June as well and they're trying to get me to do it with them (I used to work there so I know them all). I haven't decided if I will yet or not.

Do it! My Brother and I are Dressing up as Gladiators! It'll be a hoot.

There's one in Sydney February 12th but I leave in two days time so I'll miss it.

It also looks like there's no obstacles for the first 2.5-3 km in the Australian track as well...

I'd be up for it other than that though, did a 5.5km run with my 6 year old daughter at the start of January this year. She wound up with her photo on their info sheet after the event. Be interested in seeing what I'm capable of these days going all out (I'm pathetically unfit these days, haven't played rugby in about two years now and it's starting to show).
