Was 2008 Your Year?

I'll keep this simple. A lot has changed for me this year, all good. I got a job in January and still have it. I went back to school for my GED, as I never completed high school because of social reasons and laziness. And I'm a lot better around people, not caring or fearing as much on what they thought of me. All this is moving me to my next venture in healthcare within the next year.

This was my year, was it yours? And will next year be your year?

This was a great year for me too. I got my first job in which I didn't know one of the higher ups, I have my own apartment basically on my college campus (I love it!), I completed draft #1 of a screenplay, and I have several creative venues in the works.

Other than the last 2 weeks (which have sucked hard), this has been one of the best years for me in, well, years.

2008 sucked balls. I can only hope 2009 will be better but DB:Evolution is going to be released. That movie's very presence will ruin life as we know it

2008...it had KotCS, Donna Noble's return to Dr Who, nothing good happening to me personally...

film and TV have been good but life has been one big bag of meh after another...

But the holiday season always ends up sucking for me, so this is nothing new.

2008 was a really mixed bag for me. It started out horrible immediately after New Years; moved back in with my parents, lost my job, and transferred to a different college. Then around the Spring-Summer it was incredible. I had a lot of fun. Then around September it started to go down again and it's been sucking ever since. 2008 mostly sucked, but I had a good March-July. Oh, and Kicking and Screening happened this year.

Our economy has been reduced to a box of scraps, we're fighting two useless wars, Nobody can pay their bills, next year there will be a new member of my 8 person family who can barely pay their mortage, the "bad guys" are taking as much as they can before Obama goes into office, the rich people are getting billion dollar bailouts so they can stay rich, and the country is falling apart, only to get worse before it can get better.

We have the right to be haters.
