Given the movie is good, and I'm sure it will be, what song do you think should be playing as the end credits begin rolling?

Personally, I'm in favor of John Lennon - Imagine.

How about All Along the Watchtower? Or better yet a nice big orchestra theme?

like both ideas but i'd go with Noir, All Along the Watchtower, Dylans version of course.

i have always pictured Hendrix's cover being played when Dan breaks Walter out of jail.

I'm going with "Watchmen--Main Theme".

I don't think it will be a licensed song. Movies usually go with original score at the beginning of the credits, with the licensed songs coming later.

"All Along The Watchtower." I'm thinking the Jimi Hendrix version. The Dylan version is great but I kinda wanna see it used during the film and then the Hendrix verision during the credits. I'd also like to see "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield used during the film, preferably in the beginning.

V for Vendetta's credits kicked off with Street Fighting Man by the Stones.

How about the Velevet Underground?

despite them being one of the greatest bands of all time....what song would you use from them? i cant really think of anything appropriate at the moment.

Peter Gabriel - Red Rain

Duran Duran - Wild Boys

Or something with Depeche Mode or Human League.

:woot::woot::woot: Hahahahahaha. I thought humour had vanished from these boards.

But, seriously, Noir's choice. All Along the Watchtower, and with Jimi Hendrix.

True. I guess Watchmen with all its pop culture references lends itself to using a licensed song at the end. But I still think I'd prefer original score.

That said, if they were to go licensed, it should definitely be period (loosely-defined: anywhere from the 50's to the 80's). Speaking for myself at least, the worst option would be to have some contemporary band crank out an original song for the credits.

Musical score! no liscensed songs unless they fit into the film, and certainly not during the ending!

I also think "Rockin' In The Free World" by Neil Young might be good.

whats so funny about peace, love, and understanding- elvis costello (written by nick lowe)

We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel

"The Day The World Went Away (Quiet)" by Nine Inch Nails would be a good song to play during the ending(Not the credits but the ending).

Absolutely loved the beginning and the end of that, although the middle was a bit haphazard for me. Your own work?

Nah, I'm just a fan of it; met the guy who made though, did another awsome video of WatchMen. :word:
