Don't boss me around Bosser,
sorry, had to say it.

I do want to do some visual development art, when I'm not busy.

And I don´t see a moviemaker standing for the writer´s name before his/her

Robert Rodriguez did for Sin City and Frank Miller, but I heard that cost him some sort of membership to the actors guild or something like that.

It wasn´t a name question, It was because Rodriguez wanted Frank Miller co-directing the film. And the director´s guild rules don´t allow two different people directing the same film (except for brothers) or something like that...

Sometimes they'll put the author's name to differentiate it from previous movies like they did with "Bram Stoker's Dracula and Mary Shelley's Frankenstien. But that's because they had movies come before them that were merely inspired by the books and not so much based on them.

I really can't see them putting Alan Moore's name on the poster before the title especially since Moore likes to disassociate himself from any movies they make of his work and even more so for the Watchmen. He believes that they will never get all the little details in the movie that Gibbons managed to get in with the art, he thinks it should be left as comic and that they should not be trying to make a movie out of it.

Well, to be fair, he's absolutely right.
