The thing about Theron is she could pretty much do anything because she's so talented so whoever is lucky enough to cast her in a cbm first better count their blessings.
Yes :ilv:
Yup. And I don't think she'd find herself above this "genre", as she's still very active in action movie roles. I really hope WB will get her for DCCU.
Just give her whatever great role she wants :drl::woot:

I hope Hippolyta fights as well. And Charlize would be the woman for that. :)
Plus, I prefer blonde Hippolyta.

If it's New 52 version of course she will...

I would personally prefer a brunette, for the reason of Hippolyta and Diana looking alike.

And I'd like blonde Hippolyta precisely for the reason of not looking so alike :p

That's a good reason, and what may go for

She got the hair for Zeus. ya know fathers and daughters similarities and son and mothers similarities, It happens  :sly:

Of course, this would work as well. Though, for some reason, I would prefer a similarity between Diana and her mother.

I do wonder if we'll ever get to see Zeus, by the way.

Maybe we got mention him or what they do in New 52. never see his face but his BLACK/DARK BROWN HAIR that Diana has :p
He's a busy god, ya know... having all those women to flirt around.

Your teasing aside (:p), I do like this idea. Just a very quick scene of him with his face obscured and his hair and that eagle cloak he wears flowing in the wind. Or perhaps shot over his shoulder, overlooking a certain battlefield or a landscape...

True. Which got me thinking... if he's still alive and kicking, half of the human population would be demigods. Diana is not so special after all. :woot:

I prefer her as blonde in the comics because characters faces often seen identical. Perez made her hair different from Diana's (and I don't like her hair either), but often they would look the same to me.

This isn't a problem in live action, but I think it's a better idea to distinguish characters more, just as having another proeminent Amazon that is a redhead.

Well there would be diversity anyway among Amazons, even if it's not that prominent between Diana and Hippolyta. But I wouldn't mind a blond Hippolyta, just would slightly prefer a one that is brunette. It's really not that important to me.

Interesting that you mentioned a redhead one by the way... I do hope they'll include Artemis, as she's part of older Wonder Woman lore and I am hoping they'll strike a balance between New 52 and previous comics.

Maybe we get a tease of Wonder Woman's creation :sly:

This now is the XXI century. there are "precautions". Diana being a hundred years old may give you that. :word:

Artemis or Aleka?

There's always some rival/ally Amazon redhead :mnm:
I actually would like if they introduced Artemis in the New 52 as Aleka's mom.

For the movie, Artemis would be more interesting, since she has a fanbase. But they would probably have to change her story.

I can live without watching an ancient god in the "act", thank you.

Zeus would obviously be above that. Centuries of doing it natural and then suddenly being forced to use rubber. No way. :o

He could be an absent god, for several centuries. And if Diana is indeed hundreds of years old, I hope they really took into consideration how would a person who lived through so many centuries behave when they made her characterization.

To this day, I don't know why is this character called Aleka, when she was Artemis, in both look and behavior. It always felt like an unnecessary name change.

Even if it's Gerard Butler with Charlize Theron :sly:

Adapt to things

Hundred not hundreds ;)

Maybe it's her mom or her daughter or it's Artemis Aleka :sly:

Because there are differences in her relationship with Diana, and she
dies.
She serves the same purpose as Artemis, who served the same purpose as Orana*, but she isn't really the same, and unlike the other 2, she never was a rival to the title of Wonder Woman. And you can do anything with your own character that no one will be mad about it.

It's so they can have a twist at the end of an arc, where someone tells her "I like your name: Artemis." :o

Yeah, I forgot about those details

Oh, well in that case... I can live without watching Gerard Butler in the "act", thank you.

Only hundred? Really? Well, that means that Zeus was alive and kicking up until recently. Or, most probably, still is. In a brothel, somewhere....

Maybe it's her mom or her daughter or it's Artemis Aleka :sly:

They can do whatever they like, I guess.

Oh, yeah... I forgot about that. That's what you get when you don't give a damn about the character in the first place. :p

*Hans Zimmer's drums kick in*

I can't really complain about this edit.

But next time when you want to bribe me, opt for an Irish, okay? :cwink:
