Given that Patty Jenkins is directing this now, Charlize Theron as Hippolyta comes to mind right away. She won her Oscar for starring in a Patty Jenkins movie and she's proven that she can play "queenly" characters before.

Famke Janssen or Jennifer Connelly as Hippolyta.

Famke is basically a real life Amazon at 6 feet tall. She plays regal and commanding very well and has action cred with X-men, Taken, and Goldeneye.

They're not going to be casting a 30-something year old as Hippolyta, immortal or not. It just wouldn't play well given the press ageism in Hollywood gets.

I totally want the beautiful and talented Carla Gugino in the DCCU but I see them going after a name for Hyppolita.
