First 2 X-men reveals have been released and its Psylocke and Spider-man

X-Men editor Nick Lowe: "Pslocke is a psychic ninja who can cut your mind in half with her psi-sword seconds before she cuts your body in half with a katana. You do not want to mess with her.

"The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is picking up a new neighborhood: San Fancisco. Will the hero who gets no respect joins the species that gets no respect?"

Huh. Spider-Man? Weird...

This is most assuredly odd. How the hell are they gonna have Spider-Man move to San Francisco? New York is too rooted into his story to uproot him, especially when all his supporting cast is there.

There's definitely more to this than meets the eye.

looks like the X version of "I am an Avenger"

Like the art. The idea looks interesteing but I'm not too confident that Marvel will give us anything meaningful here. From what I've seen since Spidey has joined the Avengers and when other superheroes could be said to be his supporting characters there was no real drama or meaningful interaction between the characters outside the action pieces. The few times it looked like it might go in that direction it was forgotten about or glossed over.

If Spidey does interact more with other heroes in this book then I will be pleasantly surprised.

I get the feeling this is just teasing the X-Men's role as a central Superhero team in the Marvel U within the Heroic Age.

I don't see Spidey or She-Hulk actually being on the team, just some guest appearances maybe....

I think its just showing reintegration of the X-Men to the heroic age. Nothing more. Its like saying "The X-Men are more than the last surviving mutants hunkering down in one place and trying not to get picked on too much. They're a force for good against all evils. Using their powers to help humanity - not just mutantkind"
