So we know that that Liev was in negotiations for Wolverine 3

and then this came out:

His name is listed in that casting announcement.

So the question of the day is, is he back for good? Are we gonna see Sabretooth in his third X-Men film to date?! What will he look like? What is his role? Or is this some false information?

Yeah, unless its one of the trades, I wouldn't be so sure about that. I hope he comes back, but it is still just a hope at the moment.

Since they brought reynolds back as deadpool no reason why they also couldn't bring him back as sabretooth.

yeah but the difference is deadpool got his own solo movie... while victor will have appeared in wolverine movie 1 and wolverine movie 3

We know that Liev talked to Hugh around the time of the Oscars and that they discussed Wolverine 3, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he returns for the film.

I just hope he would look more animalistic and would look close to the comic's Sabretooth.

All seems quiet on this front. I wonder if it'll happen. I too hope to see a much more animalistic take on Sabertooth this time, though it's doubtful considering how toned down the film appears to be.

Trying to work out if the rumoured Weapon X title makes Victor appearing more likely or not.

the more I think of it with the Weapon X title
it could have a double meaning...with X being the roman numeral 10

this is technically the 10th X-men related movie (its not really Wolverines 10th appearance as he wasn't in deadpool, and only had cameos in First Class and Apocalypse) but, still

and most titles just get initialed these days anyway, so, it'll become known as WX (e.i. W10)

sorry, got little off topic there... as for its connection to Victor, I don't think the title is necessarily a indication to its plot, I don't see it following a set storyline of the "Weapon X" source material

if anything I could see them using flashback scenes of when/how Logan was involved with the Weapon X project (in this new time line) and that's where we'll see Victor (assume he was even part of the project in the new timeline)

Would they give Liev a gigantic blonde mane and yellow tights to wear? Sabretooth's look isn't necessarily all that important I feel like besides the mane so as long as they got that then he would be pretty Victor Creed to me.

Don't think we will get the actual Victor though, probably some mechanical version of him.

Would love to see Schreiber return. He seemed to enjoy playing the role and was one of the highlights of X-Men Origins in my opnion.

It would be nice to see Creed have a more feral looking appearance than before.He doesn't need to have long hair per se and i don't think they will do that.

Famke denied she was in The Wolverine even after she was seen in the trailer! It wouldn't surprise me if Schreiber and other possible returning members of the original cast kept quiet about their involvement.

That seems like a very plausible place to see him show up. We don't know who else Stryker had been keeping in that facility.

I remember how pumped that Origins spot got me. Schreiber really did turn in one of the best performances in any of these films.
