They need to have a scene with Bruce in costume or not, visiting his parents' graves. They can't forget why he's doing this. Sure it's not in every comic, but it would be nice to see in one of these great new movies. It would be nice to go back to them in part 3. Also to see a nice portrait of Thomas and Martha above the mantle.

I think there will be a scene. Wayne Manor should be completed in the third film. Weren't their graves located near the manor?

thats funny i just posted in the biggest disappoinments thread about how i wanted a scene with Bruce at there graves like in the comics. nothing major just something quick and thoughtful

I agree. I also hope there is a portrait of them in the new Wayne Mannor. I would like them to have some sort of a presence in the next film.

I'm watching BB, their graves were in Wayne Manor garden so I like to see new WM built in third with visiting their graves.

That would be nice to have Bruce visit Thomas and Martha's graves again. Kind of a way to tie everything together.

I think a grave scene like this could work, I don't mean exactly like this but they can take inspiration from it.

i think there is a part in Identity Crisis, when batman is looking at his parents grave, that i always wanted to see in live action.

I 100% agree this is what I thought was the only big thing missing from begins. Phantasm had two amazing scenes with the graves.

its not a costume its armor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't NEED anything of the sort. It might be cool and effective, but there are no fanboyish prerequisites required to make B3 a good movie. In fact, acquiescing to that kind of stuff too much would almost certainly damage it more than help.

No I think we do need a scene like that in the next Bat movie. I personally would love to see Batman visiting his parents grave in his costume, and take his cowl off.

Cowl off would be pretty cool! But I think I prefer full Bat-costume!

Holy original ideas Batman!

would be cool if it was at the very end Bruce went to see them as he finally knows what he is for Gotham and what he stands for and has gone to pay respects to his parents telling them that he'll keep their city safe.

Maybe the final shot..?

i always loved the grave scene from mask of the phantasm...bruce could go one night after patrolling the city and seeing the batman-hate propaganda around gotham. although he can take it, it begins to take a toll on him emotionally and he goes to the grave for support, to remember WHY he's doing this.

A scene like this would have fit perfectly in TDK. Instead of him brooding in his suit in his penthouse after Rachel died, it would have been pretty powerful to have him standing in front of his parents' graves or portrait. TDK almost completely ignored this part of why Bruce Wayne is Batman.

A scene i DON'T want to see is him standing in front of Rachel Dawes' grave. I'd be pretty pissed if it was there.

I have to agree with you on this, I think in Phantasm it help to illustrate his feelings and added depth to the situation. Phantasm also paralleled BB3 in that he was being hunted by police. In BB3 he is also going to have to decide to accept his role in Gotham and I think the graves and/or the mantle picture should play in to that.

End the last film with him over the grave, giving a monologue/speech to his parent's grave and they have a montage of clips wrapping up all of the characters's stories and then finish the clip with him walking away and/or a final shot of Batman, jumping away from the screen and into the city as the camera zooms out, with the batsignal in the sky

You took the words right out of my mouth. I am DEFINITLEY down for an idea like that. Maybe he makes some sort of vow to protect Gotham... but I am very much down for that idea.
