Weird disappearing threads syndrome

So I was looking for this thread about the Warner Brothers guy talking about women in movies or whatever cause I wanted to rant about sexism in our culture and how women were a billion times cooler on film in the 40s, 50s and 60s but the thread just disappeared and now I can't find it. This is like the third time this has happened to me this week. Do I just suck at finding threads or what the hell?
