I have not had any pregnancy scares before in my life.....I'm not even sure what I would do if I did have one.

I would just make sure she is pregnant, and get a DNA test if she's saying its yours.

Uh... if you're fairly certain it's yours, or if she's admitted it's from an earlier relationship... why not just be supportive and helpful? Is it not noble to help the damn kid?

Now I am frightened cause I dont have the money or means to support her and a child right now. Plus my parents reactions. My life has just changed so fast and i dont know what to do. Also, how long does it take a girl to know she is pregnent, cause this only took 2 days.

No way is she pregnant to you if you only had sex 48 hours ago. She must think you're simple to fall for it.
Question her, and I bet she backs down.

I think there's a bit of misogyny that comes from men whenever a pregnant woman is involved. They seem to instantly think the woman is always looking for a father for her child. It's like they presume becoming pregnant suddenly turns you into some sort of evil, self-serving alien being.

My first question is,.. how old are you and how old is she?

Secondly, I'm a father of two girls, and both situations took weeks before we even suspected we were pregnant. So if it's only been two days since you had sex,.. I'd be cautious. It doesn't mean the girl's evil or anything, but just be careful. I wouldn't be disrespectful to ask for a paternity test in this situation, but keep in mind that if it is yours,... it's your responsibility to take care of it. If it isn't, then it's up to you what you want to do, you have no obligations. It's frightening knowing that your life's going to change,.... but take it from one with personal experience,... the change is for the better. My kids are the best things ever to happen to me.

the day my ex told me she thought she was knocked up... I told her it would be alright.. after she left I went to the corner of my apartment and crouched in the corner crying.

Up till the day she got tested and was found negative.... I had dreams of baby cribs flooding my apartment.... how I'd have to give up going out with my friends, how I'd HAVE TO come home every day, how the GF would suck as a mother.
