I am seeing reviews for Star Trek all over, but not one for Wolverine yet. This is something Fox tends to do when they have little confidence in a movie getting good reviews, they did it with Dragonball, but I thought we would have at least had some screening's or press reviews by now.

Patience is virtue. If the fans hate it soo much I could just imagine how the actual reviews for this will be.

^Well that is why I am eager to see the reviews, I want to see what the critics think of this after seeing what the fans think.

I see some justifying it as a "solid summer action flick" because they automatically lower their standards for those types of movies, but no one will applaud this for being an excellent piece of film-making.

The movie isn't even done yet, Hood is putting his final touches on the film as we speak.

Yeah, adding in the effects that weren't done yet in the leaked version won't alter the film much.

Hugh said during the press tour in Sydney last week that the film was a few days off from being finished, so I'm guessing we'll start getting official reviews soon enought.

I never said they would, I'm just saying the movie isn't done, that's why there haven't been reviews yet. I think the premiere is in Paris, on the 17th so soon after that we should be getting reviews.

Incorrect...the movie is done by now. This thing is only two weeks away. They have to print out thousands of prints and then send them to all the theatres to be there opening night. The movie is done.

Yea by now it should be...

Anyone remember how tight the previous X-films were to release? i dont remember, just that they were extraordinarily close, and ****ed for time. least x1 was if i remember.

Dont know how early we got reviews of those either... I remember an AICN review of X1 a few days before it came out i think... Reviews should start coming in the last week and a half of april, as usual.

Quote from Gavin from a recent interview, don't know exactly how recent exactly, but on the 7th was when Hugh said it was a few days away from being finished. So if it is done then it was just done, but no screenings or anything yet. The reviews are coming soon for sure though.

Don't leave before the credits are over. Now I say that and I better not be in trouble, because you do realize that I'm not done with the editing process and the studio still has to sign off on everything. But, yes, Hugh [Jackman] and I have a couple Easter egss somewhere in there.

Films are generally done a month before release and this movie was in no rush like X3 so I would think it would have been done by the end of March or the beginning of this month.

Check my post above, if anything it was just finished. Not that this really matters all that much but just stating the facts.

There are no reviews because we're assuming there have been no official screenings yet. We should be getting those in the next two weeks, and we'll start an official review thread when that happens.
