    Where 2020 saw a complete drought of MCU content thanks to delays caused by the pandemic 2021 was the complete opposite and more than wetted our appetites for MCU content whether it be tv shows or movies; there were a whomping total of nine canon MCU projects released in 2021. Fittingly, Marvel started out the new decade with a new a phase of their ever expanding universe, a phase that took the franchise in new and unexpected territories, and gave us the return of old faces like Scarlet Witch and Vision but showed them in new lights. A phase that has given us the debuts of new faces like Yelena and Kate Bishop that was informed by the old ones we had seen before. As Hawkeye closes out Marvel for 2021, between the multitude of phase 4 movies and shows released this year that were produced by Marvel Studios which in your opinion is the best content the studio has released this year?

    I can't really compare the movies to the series. I found good qualities in all of the MCU shows, but wasn't interested in watching What If?

    I guess I'd rank them

    NWH with Eternals, Shang-Chi, and BW sort of clumped together with maybe an edge to BW.

    TFAWS and Hawkeye at the top and Loki and WV clumped together. I thought Loki started off better, but went in the wrong direction. WV just the opposite.

    1. Spider-Man: No Way Home - Kinda sloppy, but kinda magical
    2. Shang-Chi - Fresh in some ways, overly familiar in others.
    3. Falcon & Winter Soldier -- would be higher if not for the horrible Flashsmashers
    4. Loki -- All style no substance
    5. Hawkeye --- All style no substance
    6. Black Widow -- Would be a lot higher if not for Yelena, who I find really annoying.
    7. What If -- I liked the Ultron episodes. The rest, not so much.
    8. Wandavision -- Not for me

    It's good to see Eternals getting some love. While not perfect, it was an interesting and adventurous entry into the MCU.

    I'm afraid its relative 'failure' will send the wrong message to the Disney bean counters. I'd rather see the MCU continue taking chances with obscure characters than watch an endless parade of Spider-Man and Avengers sequels...

    I have mixed feelings with the projects but I´d say Loki and Spiderman NWH. Despite being too soon for the Multiverse in cinemas, the other projects seem to going nowwhere for me (aside of the build up of Dark Avengers and Young Avengers).

    Comparing movies with series is kind of difficult for me since they’re different and I tend to judge them separately. Having said that I would say SM:NWH and Loki where the ones that I appreciated the most.
