What about Thundarr the Barbarian?

I am currently in the process of trying to get a movie trailer made for my live action Thundarr movie. Something I can show producers and say "Look. This is what the movie will look like." I'm also looking into acquiring the rights to the characters. I'll keep you all posted on how it goes.

hmm.. I guess Warner bros. would own the rights at this point, owning all the Ruby-Spears Productions stuff. Interesting. I'd have figured DC would have been putting out comics by now. I guess nobody wants to be accused of exploiting/"ruining" one of the last Jack Kirby creations.

Yes they do own the rights. I haven't sent them my request just yet, as I'm trying to make sure my letter looks as professional as possible. I'll let you all know what their reply is as soon as I receive it.

Update!

I have started campaigning for funds on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo for making a live action movie trailer for my proposed Thundarr film. If all goes well, my Thundarr movie trailer will be up on You Tube as early a next summer.

I already have several local film makers and actors interested in taking pat in the project.
