What are those little dots

that appear next to the cursor when you do a search on some sites. For instance, Wikipedia. I see it on more and more sites now.

Yeah, I hate that about Wiki. Every time I go to type something there I always think something is on my screen.

I forgot I posted this. Black_Dust, it's too small to show up on a screen cap. Just go to Wikipedia and click your cursor into the search box. You'll see what I mean.

I just went to Wiki and noticed that it didn't to it any more. That's the first time I've ever been there and noticed the little tail thing missing.

Hmm weird...I don't get it...but I use Ubuntu (Linux) so maybe thats why...But I remeber on my second PC with windows I think I saw it before...
