Endgame What are your ideas for the new line up?

This is just for fun, thought i am sure one of who comments here is gonna get it right, but admins/mods feel free to delete this topic if is not the place for it.

I had a strong feeling for a while now, that after Avengers 4 we are gonna get "New Avengers", a new group with none of the previous members in it.

I would bet money that the leader is gonna be Captain Marvel, and it will include Black Panther, Spiderman, and Doctor Strange, probably Ant-Man too. I am 99% sure we are gonna get something exactly like that or very, very similar. No idea who the other 3 could be thought, lol.

What are your ideas for a new Avengers group with all the characters that could be a part of it?

If they wanna keep their billion-dollar lead character around, I'm quite confident he'll get his dough. Realistically he's got at least three movies left in the near-ish future; the two Black Panther sequels and at least one new Avengers flick. I'm thinking they'll save him for short cameos otherwise and use some of his supporting cast members (particularly Shuri and Nakia) to provide the Wakandan presence in other movies.

I think the actual new team line-up is pretty similar to most of the others, all under the direction of Nick Fury:
Capt. Marvel (field leader more or less)
Spider-Man (with Stark assets regardless of whether Tony is actually dead or not)
Ant-Man
Wasp
Bucky (as White Wolf?)
Falcon
Scarlett Witch
Vision (however he comes back)
Banner/Hulk (however they decide to keep him around)
Thor (still registered, but off doing his own thing from time to time)
Black Widow (if she survives)

Dr. Strange and Black Panther will remain Avengers-adjacent but not actual registered members of the team. Shang-Chi might remain street-level unless they can find some way to have him actually join the team; not quite sure how that would work if he's based in China dealing with gangs. Stark and Rogers are gone one way or another. Rhodes and Hawkeye finally get to retire in peace.

Initially I'd have easily thrown Scarlet Witch, Vision, Bucky & Falcon into the next line-up, but with their Disney TV deals, I'm no longer so sure about them.

The obvious contenders though;

• Captain Marvel
• Spider-Man
• Doctor Strange
• Black Panther
• Ronin/Hawkeye
• Ant-Man/Wasp (I'm not thinking both of them)

Pretty sure Stark & Rogers (one way or another) wont be suited up in Avengers 5, and I'm likewise almost certain that Avengers 4 will be the last we see of Hulk (at least in an Avengers film). Wouldn't have thought Thor would be around either; with Carol back on Earth, Thor should be free to explore the cosmos, although if him and his people do settle on Earth, then there shouldn't be a reason he isn't around.

Tasha and Rhodes I think will have retired somewhat. Depending what they also do with the Guardians, there's a chance one or more of them (Drax/Mantis?) may stick around on Earth and become an Avenger too. Pretty sure Mantis (at least) is one in the comics(?)

Hawkeye needs to stick around after being reinvented, he needs more time to show what he can do. I hope some of the originals are still alive and can come back another day as required.

When Hulk does take a time-out (and I don’t particularly want that to be straight after EG if we are getting a different more intelligent Hulk there), then I’d like to see She-Hulk take up the baton and become one of the powerhouses on the new team. Also Hercules in when Thor goes would be cool too. Although I’d also be more than fine seeing them overlap and be on the same team. I also wonder how MCU Hulk would get on with She-Hulk.

I'm unsure on the likes of She-Hulk and Hercules, not in the sense of them being involved, but their introduction. If Thor and Hulk are out in EG, and then She-Hulk and Hercules are suddenly in Avengers 5 … I think I'd rather have a little origin story first, especially Hercules. She-Hulk could be introduced in another film, though I'm not quite sure which one.

I also wonder whether Thor needs a replacement in Hercules if Captain Marvel is on the scene; surely she'll serve as the powerhouse?

Hercules would make sense since he's a demi god much like Thor is...he is the son of Zeus and by introducing Greek mythos into the MCU especially after you replace Thor...it's perfect

She Hulk makes sense too since she is Banner's cousin so why not

Pretty sure we're not going to get Avengers 5 for some years; they're going to have to build the villain to start with, and it took us what, ten years(?) before we finally met Thanos.

I figure they'll take a break from the Avengers for a while, and instead build up their characters, maybe a few lower level threats and team-up films before finally bringing everything back together. There's a good chance that there's characters we've not seen within the MCU yet which will play a big part in Avengers 5, and likewise, some of the characters we think are obvious choices may have retired, left Earth or have been killed off by the time Avengers 5 rolls up.
