would you want to return in a sequel. Me I would say Frost

Deacon Frost.
But in a prequel, showing his rise to power or his beginning, when he was alone.

Morbius should be brought back. He was in the alternate ending of the first Blade in the DVD.

Morbius would be a good tilt on Blade... Chasing a quasi-Vampire and then teaming up...

But I want Marvel to get hold of the rights to Blade and Ghost Rider so they can cross-over... have the story with Morbius, as well as, with Werewolf by Night and the Redeemers... leading to a Rise of the Midnight Sons movie like the Avengers (coming together with cameos and cross-over story-lines with IM, Hulk, Cap and Thor...

It would make me happy, anyway

I dont think a villain would be brought back. I think you are going to have to go with a new one unless you use Morbius from the alternate ending which is highly probable.

I would also like to see marvel get the rights back to Blade and Ghost Rider...except that i see little reason to continue the individual franchises and would just team them up in a movie...and I suppose Nighstalkers is as good of a title as youd find.

Or "Spirits of Vengence" :woot:

Having something like the X-Men Origins: theme for the dark titles would be awesome, if they spend some time developing the characters...

Well since Blade first started off in "tomb of Dracula." why not not bring Big D back for him to fight anyway!Considering he's the king of the vampires. I think that would be one hell of a fight.Oh and Michael Morbius would be cool too, but i like him more as a good guy.
just 2 and half cents

If Marvel gets their hands on Blade they'll soften him. Which is a big no no. Same thing with Ghost Rider. GR should've been rated R, and should've had a better writer and director.

i dont know any of the villains in blade, never really got into that series

Seeing as how Blade has a tendency to kill his enemies, a grudge match is pretty unlikely.

*rolleyes at all the Morbius comments* :whatever:

From the comicbooks...

1.) Varnae has yet to appear in a movie.

2.) Deacon Frost (in name only) was practically Aaron Thorne with a stolen name, so seeing those two characters split back into their comicbook incarnations would be good to see.

3.) Taj Nital never appeared, either as the mute hero or the old friend Blade eventually had to kill after having been turned.

4.) Steppin' Razor had a name and image I liked, although one of the nameless vampire sacrifices in the first movie was probably cast based on the resemblance to the dreadlocked drug lord type character that Razor was.

5.) And of course if Steppin' Razor is around Night Terror could probably put in an appearance.

From the movies...

1.) Jared Nomak was a clone. What other experiments did Blade and Whistler overlook?

I think because of the problems with Wesley, they need to re-launch Blade ala Batman Begins. Not sure if the studio is up to that at this point but, that way you can have any Blade villain you want.

I think if Wes doesnt return Blade can just be put to rest. Two really great movies, one movie that isnt up to par but pretty fun action movie. Not the greatest note to go out on but thats Hollywood for you.

In the words of Blade: "FRRROOOOOOOSSSSSTTTTT!!!!!"

Actually, no, Nomak.

I really liked Goss as Nomak.

Infinitely more interesting that either Frost or Drake.

Blackout might be a good villian (with a demonic underworld, rather than just a vampiric one). This would lead to my own self-ish desires for a dark book cross-over with Ghost Rider...

It should be put to rest, period.

I did'nt see him, maybe because I'm not in the US. Is this scene online anywhere???

They're referring to a shot in the DVD extras where Blade and Karen exit the temple at the end and see a lone figure on top of a building some distance away. It has been stated that the unnamed character was some idea of Stephen Norrington's that Norrington has never explained. Some people immediately started calling it Morbius and that association has stuck ever since.

I must have a closer look at the DVD when I get home.
