What can DC/WB do now to move forward? Is there hope? - Part 1

Which makes it so frustrating to see people trashing him and holding his comments at face value. But unfortuantely WB doesn't seem to be changing their attitude with Directors...
He'd be better off not talking about it on Twitter at all and just giving measured responses to the press in interviews.

WB could "clean their house" but it would hurt their image in the long run, and cause people to be wary of working for such a spastic studio.

WB wants to be known as a directors workshop and a place where creativity is freely embraced.

Needless to say, they're doing a horrible PR push on that front with the quality of DC films they put out as of late.

Get rid of Zack Snyder. That's the first thing they could do.

Is Snyder that heavily involved anymore anyway? After Justice League I'm not aware of any other movies he is definite to direct. He is listed as one of the producers on a few more but does that really mean anything
or is it just a token credit? For example Christopher Nolan got producer credit on Man of Steel but didn't seem to have much influence in the movie.

Put it this way... Zack Snyder poured in the foundations of the house.

Made out of ****.

Good rule of thumb.
"Producer" still tends to have more creative clout than "Executive".

I'm just speculating,

But I'd say in terms of universe building, and directing the DCEU. Snyder's been out of universe building since BVS, and will be out of directing after JL.

I'm still picturing JL as another movie that divides fans and gets critically panned. More stuff like the Pa Kent death scene, and Martha scene to argue about.

And will probably repeat BVS in the 800-900 million range Boxoffice

"That son of his mother not named Martha brought the DCEU to us three and a half years ago. Jesus, count the dreadful movies... three. What's next? WW failing? He has the power to wipe out the entire good will of the audience, and if we believe there's even a one percent chance that he will direct The Batman we have to take it as an absolute certainty... and we have to sit back and laugh our a****s off."

I know they aren't as polarizing as Snyder, but since the studio is bringing Goyer and Ayer back for GLC and GCS, respectively, I wouldn't rule out a return from Snyder after a four or five year hiatus.

Yes, the seeds for the DC Lego Movie Universe have already been planted

And it shall be glorious if you take the Lego Batman Motion Picure's early reception into consideration

And the fact that they already made 6 Lego DC flicks.

and probably done a lot better

I'll take it!
Some of them are genuinely good. Like they got the people who worked on those great DC toons/movies for whatever reason to direct/write them.
