What can Duke Nukem Forever ofer to me as a gamer

... i mean, does the game have any inovation (besides taking 14 years to be released) that could lead me as a gamer to buy it?
I know the gameplay is going to be based around the 90 FPSs but is there anything in the GAMEPLAY that could lead me to spend the money in this game instead of in others?

Choose the Bat.

They're vastly different games, though. One's a first-person shooter...20 something (or so I've heard) hours to play, with satire from wall to wall. You can pick up a turd and toss it around.

And the other is a third-person stealth action, somewhat openworld, story driven, dark and gritty comic book game.

There's not alot of similarities between the two.

Except they're both documentaries on Legendary men, I suppose....

Arkham Asylum's gotta be pretty cheap right now.

I'm with everyone wondering why you're wondering which game to buy when the releases are about 4 months apart. You can't save $60 in 4 months?

Like others have said, these two games couldn't be more different. Do you want to go around in stealth mode and take out guys in methodical fashion, or do you want to go into an area with guns blazing and a bad attitude? It also depends whether you like Batman more or Duke Nukem more, as alot of the fans of Duke have memories of his last game more than a decade ago, and that factor in their decision whether to buy it now or wait until later.
