I wasn't familiar with this character, as I'm not a big Marvel guy, so I looked him up...

Holy crap, there IS a resemblance.

The cheekbones, the goatee, the mouth, the eyebrows, the eye color...and even though the angle from which the photograph of me was taken doesn't show it...the nose is similar too. Wow. I wonder what this guy is about...

He's one of the most prominent sorcerers in the Marvel Universe. Your username implies you're a DC fan, right? Just think of him as Marvel's Dr. Fate or a male Zatanna.

I'm more of a Batman guy specifically, recently got into GL and the wider DCU. So I don't know Fate really but I was introduced to Zatanna by reading GL: Rebirth recently. I'll just look Dr.Strange up on Wikipedia.
