I go to Amazing Fantasy, and also Graham Crackers comics. They're both great. But, I seem to find more at Graham Crackers. Both are willing to find me stuff if they don't have it, then they'll get it at one of their other stores, but at GC they usually have what I want without having to find it for me.

The manager at GC is so great, he's an older guy and I love to sit and talk with him about the older era of comics since he was there to see it first hand.

AF has alot of younger guys. Some are kind of nerdy jerks almost like the comic book guy from the Simpsons. I had to tell off one geek that works there once 'cause he got all weird about me opening a back issue, I asked first, and he wa like oh I don't know, so I told him I've been coming here since I was 13, I was 26 when I told him this I also told him I know the owner then he chilled out and let me open it.

But there is one guy at AF who's been there for about 15 years that I've known since I was a kid, he's a fellow Bat-Fan so we3 always get along.:batty: :batman: :wolverine :venom:

I go to Space Cat Comics once a month and Heroes on occasion. For my regular comics, I go to Space Cat and I go to Heroes to get back issues because they have quite a selection.

Clifton Comics for my weekly pulls, and sometimes Queen City Comics or Up, Up And Away for back issues. Although the new management at Up, Up And Away sucks hard. It was waaaay better when it was Comic Book World.

Zimmies for the week to week books and to dish comic and movie news with people who get out even less than I do :oldrazz:
and Casablanca Comics when I'm in the city. Casablanca has better figures and a much better trade selection

First Federal here in Austin (because it's close and gives 15% off if you have a pull list).

But my favorite is Austin Books. Coolest store in the city.

islander comics in merrit island fla

amazing heroes in union,nj & one flight up comics in millburn.

the stores are like night and day.
amazing is where i frequent more often then. I go to one flight up for back issues since they typically seem to have what i missed at store A

Gary's Comics and More in Morgantown, West Virginia.

In Toronto, I used to like to go to Silver Snail. But they've been pi$$ing me off lately, because I've been a regular customer for two years, but they still make me check my briefcase at the door if I go there after work.

For f$#k's sake, I pull in 62+ a year not including bonuses, I wear custom-tailored clothes, and I'm 32. I'm not going to steal comic books, for the love of God.

I'm now spreading my business among a bunch of smaller shops in the T-dot.

I order my stuff online at dcbservice.com

But then you're missing the great customer experience of the comic book store.

#1. Dusty back issues that make your hands burn and blister whenever you touch them.

#2. The omnipresent smell of cat litter.

#3. The owner/manager who is filled with hate to his/her customers.

#4. The badly shelfworn ToyBiz Secret Weapon Force Wolverine that's occupied the same peg for the past 12 years and is priced at $39.99.

#5. Pornographic material sitting in full public view at child's eye level.

maybe thats just standard security procedure p.r.

Titan Games and Comics in Smyrna, GA (atlanta suburb)

the owner is a very nice lady. she and her mother are almost always there, and the female influence on the store is very prevalent (my gf likes the store). It's clean, well-laid out. Comics are all pre-bagged. There are several good ATl stores (including Oxford Books and Dr. No's) but Titan is my favorite.

I'm pretty sure that's true, but come on, if I've been going to the same place for a long time they can let me walk by with my man-purse once in a while without worrying about me shoplifting.

The Comic Box.

Sometimes. I'm not a regular anywhere cause I don't buy that much. But that's the strictly comic place I go. I also get stuff from places like Barnes & Noble.

Rainbow Sportscards & Comics, located in Sioux Falls, SD...they have one in Sioux City, IA as well...I love that store :o

I go to Newcastle for them. Theres two places I go Traveling Man or Forbidden Planet, I prefer to go to Traveling Man since I get my comics bagged.

No comic shop is grand enough to contain the awesomeness that is I inside of it.

I make my friend go to Lobo Anime and Comics in Albuquerque, and mail them to me.

Because I can. And I pay him to do it. o_O

Midtown Comics mostly since I work close to it. On occassion, Forbidden Planet and every now and then Rocketship in Brooklyn.

I used to go to Dewey's in Madison, NJ and Comics on the Green in Scranton, PA. Both of these stores have the nicest people working there.

Forbidden Planet. Which is great, because it's a few minutes walk away from my college.
The people there are nice too. Never had a problem there.

I used to go to Comic Utopia in Holt MI, but it just closed. I'm thinking of just collecting TPBs
