What consoles are you getting? (Post-E3 06)

I love all three systems, so I probably will eventually have all three, but the PS3 will be the last one I get just because of the price and really the only game I'm looking forward to on it right now is Metal Gear. I could probably even just wait for the 360 to get a port of Metal Gear.
The day MGS comes to 360 is the day I become king of the Universe.

I said the same thing about Kindgom Hearts to the Xbox 360...and guess what?

KH2 to 360?

HAHAHAHHA! SUUUUUUUUUUURE.

And I'm MGS's Raiden.

I know I read it from an online source. I can't find it and I've been searching.

Yeah...sure. Keep looking and don't come back till you got the source, okay?

Yeah. Master Chief is more likely to be in the new Super Smash Bros. than KH being ported to 360.

Well then I guess you're not Raiden afterall.

I already have the 360. The PS3 I am sure will be a great console however the price is way too high and it lacks any games I am interested in right now.

Wii will be a launch day purchase for me.

Wow, no one is getting just 360 and PS3.

I myself will get a Wii on launch day. I'll pass on the PS3 unless Kingdom Hearts 3 is phenomenal. I may get a 360 within a year.

No doubts about the Wii, but I'm now on the fence about PS3. Originally I planned on getting both, Wii for my Zelda needs, unique experience and of course, Smash Bros Brawl, and a PS3 for my more third party and graphical needs. However, after seeing the best sony has to offer and that numbing price tag.... lets just say I'm thinking things over.

Even if you are a MGS fan, there's Super Smash Bros. Brawl to get on Wii.

But no Metal Gear Solid 4. Playing Snake on Super Smash Bros is like Metal Gear Ac!d, it gives you your fix for Metal Gear, but your appatite desires for more. Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops are what will fill it up.

The 'Wii60' combo seems to be very popular with alot of people. Even Microsofts Peter Moore is telling people to do it.

Snake beating the **** out of Pikachu is not enough?

PS3, Wii: Wii first PS3 later, 360 later if there are enough games that interest me by then. I sure as heck am not getting a PS3 until year 1-2.

Hippie Hunter is right. Legend of Zelda (to me anyways) is the greatest game franchise ever created. Sure playing as Link or Ganondorf in Melee will tie you over for a bit, but theres nothing like actually going one on one in a corrupted Hyrule Castle.

Sorry dude, Metal Gear is not going onto the Xbox 360. Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance was a complete failure. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence did not get an Xbox version. And Kojima has said that the main Metal Gear franchise will remain exclusive to the Playstation system and the games he makes will be exclusive to the system he makes it for. No ports. So if you want a game by Kojima Productions for the Xbox 360, it will be an Xbox 360 game, it just won't be Metal Gear.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was a symbol of friendship between Kojima and Nintendo (primarily Shigeru Miyamoto) and Solid Snake being on Super Smash Bros. Brawl was made because Kojima requested for it.

The Legend of Zelda is tied with Metal Gear for me.

Then online, we can see which is the superior franchise. :)
