Justice League What could be the massive cliffhanger at the end of the movie

According to Snyder himself, there will be a massive cliffhanger at the end. What it could be ? Maybe like the one from 300, darkseid coming to earth and justice League getting ready to fight. Or martian manhunter or future flash warning about the knightmare timeline.

I think the league defeats Steppenwolf, everything is rosey. Then we go to The Knightmare Sequence, Bruce awakens from the latest Knightmare and MM is there & tells him “the war is still coming” or some shiz

Exactly correct. The movie ends with everything "resolved" in our current timeline. Steppenwolf gone, Darkseid taunts the league. The Justice League is formed and everyone is happy and then flash forward to Knightmare. Something big happens and Batman and his rat tag team are realizing this is all just the beginning and they are humantiy's last hope.

Its all leading up to the conclusion that Darksy is going to be mayor menace in the future, but out of nowhere, it is shown that he is controlled by a mor powerful foe: I was Granny Goodness All Along!!!!!
