I went way more in depth with my one choice so far:
The Legion of Superheroes
I would make it similar to what they did on the animated series, the Legion needs help and they look to there inspiration Superman. But they don't want to mess with the timeline taking an older Superman out of his time. Plus they given they're teenagers they want to get someone there own age so they travel to Smallville. A time before Clark Kent was Superman, of course same as the animated show they find it hard to convince him to come along. But eventually they would, Clark would not be able to fly at this stage. He would only be able to do so when in the future due to the Legion flight ring.
The legion would make him a suit (not based on the classic one to start off with. At first we would see Clark having fun with his powers with the Legion but then the threat that forced the legion would make themselves known...
The Fatal Five
After a battle with the Fatal Five, the Legion wounded would have to retreat. Clark suit torn, bruised and battered would blame himself and he'd disappear. The Legion would look for him, finding him in the Superman museum. Where we would be treated to some cool Easter eggs for the DCEU. Here Clark wouldn't think he can live up to all the museum says he accomplished. The Legion would promise to take Clark back to his win time once they had beaten the Fatal Five.
The Legion would be losing the battle, Clark would see this from the screens at the Superman museum. Clark inspired by the images and videos in the museum would break the Superman suit out if the glass case (this could be robe really cool so we don't actually see him take it but we would see the broken glass). Then Superboy would save the Legion, and the heroes would be victorious.
The film would end with the Legion taking Clark back to his own time and Saturn Girl would alter his memories so he didn't remember things as they happened.
- I would get George Miller to direct
- This could set up a trilogy of films aimed at a younger audience.
- it would have great toy potential.
- it would be a fresh aspect to tackle Superman from.
