The Dark Knight What do you prefer?

I love the hype for movies like this. (Although I have yet to see ANYTHING on such a grand scale as TDK) But after the movie comes out, within a week, it's old news, and you realize it's all over.

So I ask: do you prefer the lead-up to the movie, or do you want to just see it already?

Tough to say, the anticipation is quite exciting (especially for this movie), but I kinda wanna just get it over with now and actually see the damn thing haha.

I was kinda thinking this the other day. I will be sad when all the build up is finished but that means we'll finally have the film but all the fun will be over. Im really not sure. Probably having the film.

The reason the build up is so fun is because it's getting closer to the movie.

I have no idea actually. I'm really excited for that fact that I'm seeing this in a few hours but on the other hand, when I walk out of that theater, I wont have anything to look forward to, maybe the DVD release, but still, it wont be on the same level.

i want to see it a few times in theaters and then fast forward to DVD release. im dreading the inevitable contrarian backlash, for all the people who will think it was overhyped and overrated, you know....the angry nerd backlash that comes with every well received film...it cant possibly be well received because its genuinely any good! it must be because everyone is stupid! blargh popular media!
