I wouldn't call Mel Gibson an icon. His films are awesome, though.
I do wonder if Jacko can undo the damage. If he could overcome his deoms once and for all, and manage to get with a hot producer (a Quincy Jones reunion would be dynamite) and put real energy into his live performing and whatnot, it would be a miracle.
However, most of the genius comes from Quincy Jones.
