World What do you think of the Universal studios ride?

I went to Florida in the spring and after waiting 2 hours went on the Spider-Man ride. Great fun, best ride in the park in my opinion.

I assume loads of people have been to, so what did you think as a Spidey fan?

It's awesome I went on it twice in a row. Loved it. I intend to go back some day.

The 3-D and other effects on it are great. Getting splashed by Hydro-Man, Electro rocking the cart with his electric bolts, Ock putting his flaming tentacle in your face and feeling the heat off it, and going flying down the building and landing in a web.

So cool. Best ride on Marvel islands IMO. Doom's ride was a big let down.

Oh My God!!! My wife and I went to universal studios and IOA for our honeymoon in '03. I rode that thing like 8 times. Greatest ride ever!!! (not that i'm biased or anything lol). We're taking our kids for the first time later this year. I can't wait to get back on SM!

I live in FL and make it to Universal once a year and always make time to get on the Spidey ride. It's always a good time.

That was an awesome ride. I remember when I first went on it I was just amazed at the cool 3D things and effects that I went on it twice in a row, possibly 3 times.
The Hulk rollercoaster was a pretty good roller coaster also. Has anyone heard how fast it goes in the first few seconds? I heard it was something like 0-70 in the first three, but it's been a while since I've been on it to remember quite what it felt like.

Man, i LOVE that ride! We go every September.

That whole Marvel section of the park is one of my favorite places on earth!

Folks; you need to plan your trips during the off season. As i said, the crowds arent too bad in September. We usually get there right when the park opens and head right over to the Spidey ride first (by mid morning/late afternoon, the crowd starts to build up a bit)....If you do it that way, well, i've gone on the ride, gotton out, and literally walked right back inside and done it again with no waiting...if you go during the spring/summer, then you MAY have to wait in line up to two hours (plus, the weather is hot as hell)...

But yeah; All fans of Spider-Man should make a pilgrimage to Marvel Islands Of Adventure at least once in their lives...

Im getting a more modern PC this Fall, maybe i can post a few photos....

Hands down it's the greatest ride ever made. Total immersion into the world of Spider-Man. There is nothing like it.

In case people don't know. It's a ride in complete 3-D, you see, hear and feel the action with a great music score and sound effects. You move through the streets and sky of New York, right in the middle of Spider-Man's greatest battle with Doc Ock, Hobgoblin, Hydro-Man, Electro and more. It's truly a one of a kind expierience. A must for any Spider-Man fan.
