I remember seeing welling on IGN saying that 11 is also a good number and that the end of season 10 won´t answer all the questions.

Uh, from what I recall, Welling was joking about a Season 11.
I don't think he said anything about how Season 10 won't answer all the questions. I could be wrong.

A movie would be a nice ending. If everything doesn't all get answered.
But yeah, other than that, let it end.
I don't think anyone but Tom Welling would pull the Superman in a movie that well.
After all, he was their first choice for Superman returns.

I'd like to see it end but if they make a comic book spin-off that continues into Clark being Superman I'd read it.

A comic book spin-off would be great because the writers would be able to make the story more epic and it could easily be Dc´s ultimate marvel.

Yeah, then it would be a good way for dc to launch that tipe of line, but not copying the whole idea from Marvel.

There are a few things I'd be cool with, though not all would work.

1. A "Metropolis" Comic following the comic versions of Smallville characters for a few years.

2. A "Metropolis" TV show focused on Lois, law and order, the Planet, with Supes more assumed and in the background. That would be a tough one, but it would have to be a VERY character-driven show.

3. A GA/JL spin-off.

4. A new Superman animated series starting where season 10 ends.

as much as i would love to see the show continue in some form its not going to happen. ten seasons is a nice long good run for any show. I would love if they did a comic though.

It is still pocible that they continue the story, because of it´s long run it became to be more and more famous, it beated stargate SG-1 as the american´s longest running science fiction show and it´s going to get an award for that, i hope they make in least a comic book continuation, but the only way for that to happen would be if many fans started to do an online petition.

yea a spinoff is always possible. If there was one i would see it more likely being a green arrow solo show. Or possibly a brave and the bold teamup style jl show. But i would see green arrow probably being a more cheaper one to producer.

Given the move to Fridays and the declining ratings, I don't think the network is gunning for a spinoff to keep SV alive.

It was a six-season show stretched out to ten seasons. I'm glad it's over but they were a little too late on bringing it to a close.

Logically, if the network wanted to continue this thing, they would have pushed for a Season 11.

The cast, Tom specifically, conveyed he'd be fine with a Season 11.

The fact that CW is capping SV off at 10 makes it pretty obvious that SV spinoffs are unlikely.

A spinoff would counter the logic of ending SV here.

For me a comic book continuation in whish the characters would grow in real time would be great, 2 or 3 ongoing series are for me the best option.

And also, CW capped it off at Season 10? I thought it was a mutual agreement to stop it?

man of tomorrow actually tom was only joking about an 11th season back at the upfronts. But whos to say we couldnt see a spin off from smallville. it doesnt have to air on the cw too.
