I figured it's about time we had one of these for Captain America!

Here's two choices of what I would like to see after the credits:

Choice A: Cap meets the Invaders, after seeing Jim Hammond, original Human Torch flame on, he comments how that "must be fun" (In joke to Chris Evans playing Johnny Storm)

Choice B: (Seems more likely to me) During the movie, we think Bucky died. After the credits, we see Bucky wake up. Scarlett Johansson cameos as Natalia, the future Black Widow. He asks where he is, and she comments he is safe. He relaxes, but she knocks him out, but she expresses regret over it. Anton Vanko (Whiplash's father from Iron Man 2) takes him to prep him for "training" This sets up the Bucky/Widow relationship from the comics, and Bucky to return in sequels as Winter Soldier.

i would like to see the heli carrier flying in the sky. but it would have to be something that says avengers. maybe all the main avengers cast in a room together, then fury walks in and says "you know why you're here so lets get to the matter at hand". then the doors shut, and the camera zooms out of the room which turns out to be the heli carrier flying in the sky.

I hope that at the end of Captain America they establish the threat for the Avengers film. It'd be a good first introduction to the villians of the film.

I definitely want a tease for Winter Soldier, but a tease for Avenger's villain would be good.

I would say that's the most logical. I wouldn't mind seeing Steve wake up and see Hawkeye, Iron Man, the Black Widow and Nick Fury all standing around him, welcoming him to "the future". We zoom out and we see the helicarrier for the first time then a caption appears "The Avengers will assemble" and the release date.

No. Save all that for the Avengers film.

Before the end credits we see Steve revived... we go to credits... then we fade back in to Fury and Steve at Arlington looking at the war memorial and Cap sees all the names of the heroes that he served with during WWII. He asks Fury about the end of the war and what happened to Hydra. Fury tells him that Hydra still exists. Fury gets a call on his cell and excuses himself and steps aside to take the call. We see cap in the background and he is obviously upset that Hydra is still around and we can see he is gearing himself up for some Revenge for all the dead soldier (especially Bucky)

We see Fury and hear his end of a phone call... it sounds bad. While he is listening to the call, his head is down and he's shaking his head. He asks alot of questions... then finally... he raises his head and looks pretty much into the camera and says to the voice on the other end of the line... "It's time. Assemble the Avengers."

Cut to black.

A shadowed figure jets through the north atlantic waters right under the surface, at breakneck speed. Icebergs emerge in the distance, one bigger than the next. The figure maneuvers in-between the massive icebergs and abruptly dives into the deep. The camera follows his masked figure to a point where light is barely reaching from the surface, and then not reaching at all.

The outline of a large mass appears on the screen, and the figure stops in front of it. He stays and stares for a few moments, and an angler fish swims in front of the mass. Its flesh-lure lights up, and from the brief flash a barely visible outline of a man's body appears. The shadowed figure grabs the mass and rockets to the surface.

As the light starts to penetrate through the waters again, we see the shape of Cap start to materialize, his head/hair, then his body, and lastly the shield, which as the light finally hits it begins to reflect it and a bright flash emanates from the edge. Right before the figure reaches the surface, he stops underwater and the camera pans back to reveal first a pointed ear, then uncovered, muscular shoulders, then legs extending down to peculiar pairs of wings on the figure's ankles, still flapping slowly to keep aloft.

The camera changes position and is now behind the iceberg-embedded Cap. Through the clear ice you see the back of Cap's head, and the camera pans slightly right to reveal the face of Namor, staring into the iceberg with a stern frowned expression. Fade to black.

I say you have Black Widow and her new partner Hawkeye in a stealth recon scene introducing the possible villain(s). You give the fans two Easter eggs for the price of one.

I would say I'd really like to have bonus footage of Captain America breakdancing with Adolf Hitler.

Or maybe a tease at Robo-Hitler.

I really don't think they can/should do any type of scene involved Steve in the ice or being revived post credits. That's a huge moment for the character and shouldn't be part of some easter egg after the credits. The two post credit scenes in Iron Man were teasers, but not a moment as big to Iron Man as Cap in the ice.

But I think that people are know on to the fact that Marvel is doing the post credit story teasers and that would be a cool way to have him revived.

Id rather see that clip at the end of Thor and have something new related to Avengers after Cap.

I like the idea of setting up the Avengers villain.

I guess my second choice would be the Zemo/rocket sequence - but that might be too long and would be a better opening for the Avengers.

either something involving red skull.... or after a supposed death at the end of the film, have voices saying "we got him", and have a scene with the avengers finding him in a block of ice .

what about you see tony and fury looking over a desk of hundreds of files. Coulson walks in handing fury some note

fury: i think we've found our missing peice

Thing is it cannot be something huge because not all of the GA stay behind till after the credits so something like Captain America's revival would be a silly place to have it.

It needs to be something that will get those who stay behind to get very excited but something that can be A) isn't needed to understand 'the Avengers' or B) Is something that can be repeated in less detail in 'the Avengers'

Good example is the end of Iron Man 2. Thor's Hammer is found everyone who stayed behind knew what it was. Those who go see Thor next year will still be aware SHIELD found the hammer but don't need to see that scene if they left early.

Bad example is Iron Man ending. Fury is introduced and mentions the Avengers Initiative. He pops up in Iron Man 2 with no introduction so I'm sure some people were like 'who's this guy?' + TAI pops up at the end again which may confuse people.

So far every post credit scene has unveiled something new to the MCU. TIH gave us the first occurrence of the star and hero of one franchise appearing in another hero's franchise. IM gave us Fury for the first time.. IM2 gave us Mjolnir. I would expect the pattern to continue and get something new in the Thor and Cap post credit scenes and not an extension of the actual movies.

Why not just use the cut scene from Incredible Hulk where Banner is in the Artic about to commit suicide. He turns into the Hulk full of rage and destroys some glaciers. Instead of just seeing the shield, this time we actually see Caps' body. Of course it would have been better with Norton.

That'd be cool for people who haven't seen that scene. But the after credits stuff is for the fans after all.

Cut to Bucky laying on an operating table in the Russian Submarine, a general giving the order of 'Now!' and then his eyes suddenly open.

Fade to Black.

Winter Soldier seeds sewn early. That'd be cool.

Yeah I think TONY STARK should be seen and even speak in both THOR and Captain America at the end of the films.

Maybe at the start of the Avengers movie have a sequence where Shield agents with
Tony Stark and maybe James Rhodes go retrieve Captain America.

Yeah, that would be a good way to introduce Ruffalo as Banner.

Re edit the whole scene from 2:25 mins to 45 seconds. Show the shot of Banner getting off the big rig only showing his feet, re edit to make him get up the mountain faster only using the shots of him from far away, then re shoot the last part of the scene with Ruffalo taking out the gun, eyes turning green and hulking out, then reuse the shot where Hulk smashes the glacier.
