Why would they even play that movie? What is with all the live action crap on there lately?

I could see Who Framed Roger Rabbit but, Goonies?, No.

That's why they are getting to be as bad as Vh1 and MTV, soon they won't even be playing cartoons. They suck as it is.

I miss how it use to be, now it's nothing but Anime crap, and the same old Futurama over and over and over again.

They think adult swim is so great and cutting edge, it's not, it's lame!

I hate these channels going way off from what they're suppose to be.

Like Nikelodeon, that used to be one of the best channels, now its just filled with pre-teen crap.

As for Adult Swim, I don't think its cutting edge, but it has great stuff on it. Except for Minori-team, god, what a lame show. Oh and they need to stop showing that Yogi Bear cartoon, it's just really disturbing.

There use to be a Dumb and Dumber cartoon on Cartoon Network back in 95-96.

Again, they play movies cause there's expanding there variety because they know the profile of there audience and are expanded there programming for them. MTV did the same in the 90's and it worked even if from a critical standpoint it didnt. It's all about keeping viewers and make that $$$

The channel's kinda going down the tubes in terms of quality, ever since they made the discovery that anything anime related people will eat up.

They need to put something on, but because they have cancelled all of their greatest shows they are airing anything they can.

FYI, Cartoon Network was showing anime from the very beginning. But later on they started showing the newer, hot stuff.

And there's nothing wrong with that since a good deal of anime they've shown are some of the best stories in fiction ever.

Yah, as long as they don't go beyond Yugioh and start showing Beyblades and that other crap, it's all good.

It makes me so angry!!! I thought I was the only one to notice. They put the great stuff on Boomerang ( a channel I don't get ) and put on a bunch of crap. I luv the anime and it must stay. I wish things went back to what they were so many years ago, like when Toonami just started and Moltar was the host. And when AS just started, stuff was just funny then like the original eps of Home Movies and stuff. I really miss the way it used to be :(

And has anyone noticed the new cartoon 'My Gym Partner's a Monkey'? Has anyone noticed the voice for the monkey? It's Tom Kenny!!! How the heck did CN get Tom Kenny on their payroll???!!!! He hasn't done a cartoon that didn't hit it big, but now he has!!! What happened??!! CN is pulling our legends down with them!!!!!!

:( I'm sad. I wish for Thundercats, Gumby, Speedracer, Cartoon planet, silverhawks, Sailor moon, Dexter, Johny Bravo, Courage, and all the others I can't remember becuz it's been too long. :(

Courage was so boss and Moltar in full on Ghost Planet style was the only true Toonami host. I just miss when Cartoon Cartoon used to highlight original work being done for the network, so many great shows got their start that way. AS still puts Home Movies on every once and awhile (not often enough). I miss Space Ghost Coast To Coast and the great animes that really started the AS action block a few years back like FLCL, Witch Hunter Robin, Wolf's Run, and Big O. I'll never understand why their worst show of that set (Inuyasha) was the only one to survive. Still, they have some good stuff now, NG Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist, GitS 2nd Gig, and Samurai Champloo. It's still worth watching.

I'll admit..........I miss Sailor Moon:(....though I have all the released seasons, I wished they dubbed the final season, Sailor Stars(I have a few eps but they stopped making fansubs at the anime shop I go to)....It was probably the best season since Sailor Moon R and it was much darker than the previous seasons as well.

Now that Fullmetal Alchemist is over, and Ghost in the Shell season 2 will be ending in a few weeks, I don't really know if I'm going to be watching CN at all anymore, unless by some holy occurance GitS gets a third season. And when the only thing on the channel worth watching is Anime, it's a pretty safe guess that your original programming sucks. And c'mon, live action movies? I understand the reasoning behind it, but that's still a poor excuse.

Cartoon Network seriousely needs to get some truly top-notch prime time originals if they want to come back to their former glory.

I do like Samurai Champloo, I forgot to mention it. I don't really like Boondocks though.

What CN really needs is high quality originals though! And it would be nice if I didn't have to stay up till 1:00 AM to watch them. Low-budget comedies can only get you so far, and while I do like some of the Anime on CN, I don't think it should be all that makes up their bread and butter.

People are forgetting that Adult Swim, and Cartoon Network has a ego these days. With the success of Miguzi,Teen Titans, and Adult Swim they think they can do whatever they want. And they can, personally,i think only cartoons and the occasional cartoon movie should be on that network.
