How is it not?

This is stupid. obviously its a cartoon and it has some dark humor sre, but i think youre tottally blowing this out of porportion. Ill admit i thought it was going to turn into a big fight scene like Peter vs the chicken and i was dissapointed but its simple. if you dont like the show dont watch it. I dont like the ZSimpsons anymore nor do i particullary care for King of The Hill and just from what ive seen of South Park it doesnt fit my type of humor , so i dont watch it its that simple.

I dont think Family Guy has declined in quality as much as people say. I think the random hit and miss inside jokes are a part of its charm and if you dont like it the dont watch. I dont think we watch a comedy show for its ability to challenge our brain power its to make us laugh, and albeit the humor is a tad bit simple i stil like it

Lets look at it from this point of view. You have a 1 year old son, who finds out your new dog was humping his favorite stuffed animal, and said 1 year old son goes and brutally chops up your new dog and throws him in the garbage.

That's ****ed on such a higher level than "killing fat people" or anything else they've ever done on the show, with the exception of the time where Stewie beat the **** out of brian, which is just a bit lower.
Better start up ASPCCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Cartoon Animals)

Seriously... everyone is acting like Stewie crossed into this world and killed a real dog which belonged to the person complaining about it.

Does he complain when Elmer Fudd shoots Daffy Duck or Bugs Bunny? Or when the maid beats Tom for breaking furniture in the house while he's chasing Jerry?

No, because they arn't brutally murdered.

You guys are morons if you can't see where people would have a problem with it.

I think the person getting upset over the actions of fictional characters is a moron

I can't believe people are actually upset about this...

LOL.

No need for that... just cause you don't like Stewie killing a not real dog, that walked on its hind legs and talked.... and raped a stuffed animal.

That and he lacks the ability to differentiate reality from fiction

Have you ever seen that episode of Tom and Jerry where Tom gets beheaded by a guillotine. It's dark and the thing is the episode is not banned I still see it from time to time on cartoon network.

Honestly, I can see how some people may have a problem with that but damn man your watching Family Guy here. You said it yourself this is the same show that had Stewie beat the crap out of Brian and then set him on fire. All this shouldn't be of a surprise to you. If you hated that then DO NOT see the American Dad episode Choosy Wives Choose Smith. Again I ask, are you a fan of South Park?

LOL! I cannot believe that this is still being debated. Unbelievable. If this were a face to face. I would have walked away by now, & checked mental institutions for missing patients. This is rediculous!

"The Two Mouseketeers"? Yes I have. I've also seen the short "You Nazty Spy!" by The Three Stooges where at the end of the short, they were eaten by a lion.

Tom and Jerry still appeared in shorts after that particular one from 1951, and The Three Stooges made more shorts after that specific one from 1940.

The only things that affected the Stooges wasn't because of their shorts but because Curly suffered a stroke and wasn't able to continue, when Shemp died of a sudden heart attack, and when their contract expired with Columbia in 1957

Okay so, what say you of this week when Peter burned down a children's hospital just to burn down a billboard?

That is infinite times worse than Stewie killing the dog and the actual time on this show I've ever said ''Okay, that was just going too far."

the children hospital burning down and Stewie killing the dog did not phase me one bit. I'm too numb to this kind of stuff.

I laugh at all this, but I wonder how many preteens and children watch this awful crap. I mean internalizing constant killing as funny is bad for people.

I mean internalizing constant killing as funny is bad for idiots.

Fixed. People understand it is just a show.... so they can understand in real life how death and killing aren't a lot of fun.

It's internalizing violent imagery, the desensitization involved.

The Lincoln "joke" was bad, too.

yeah that was definitely more of an "oh no they didn't" moment than Stewie killing new Brian. He's a demented little boy and New Brain humped his man, he had it coming.
and remeber when Peter killed his three mormon wives and put them in the trash? How is this worse?

I thought the Children's Hopsital joke was in pretty bad taste.

Well considering just how violent the 3 Stooges were and looking at society now, you maybe onto something. Moe would hit Curly with a hammer in the head becuase he had a bad temper and its funny. But the truth is, we won't know the results of your point for another 10 years when the kids are of age to carry out these "jokes".
