Mort as Lando seems like it could be fun, but I feel they passed up an excellent chance to give Ollie Williams the spotlight.

I swear, they must be saving Ollie Williams for Admiral Ackbar.

"It's a trap, suckas!"

"We gotta concentrate all fire on that Star Destroyah!"

etc.

Tom Tucker: We know take you live to Admiral Ackbar. Admiral--

Ollie Williams (Done up as Ackbar): --It's a trap!

Tom Tucker: Thanks, Admiral.

ha, one of the things I love most about Family Guy is the completely random-ass cameo appearances.

like Megatron in the last episode.

I don't care what Bay says Frank Welker still sounds "scary/menacing" as Megatron.

This last epsiode was by far the best of the season. They need to make more like this! I cant wait for the new epsisode called 'Family Gay' haha

Just checked the schedule for tonight, new show tonight.

Cannot wait for tonights epsiode! Its gonna be so funny

^Same here, however there were a few good moments. On a side note the rerun of Ocean's Three and a Half (played on Adult Swim) had the Christian Bale gag cut out, gotta say the episode flowed better without it.

Yeah, I caught that. I didn't see the episode when it originally aired and was like "where'd the Bale bit go?" after watching it on AS last week. I wonder why. That was the best episode I had seen a some time though.

The episode itself wasn't terrible. They just could have done alot more with it.

The main part of the episode was decent enough. I just thought there would be more with the 'resolution'. I found the ending to be fairly abrupt.

That's cause it wasn't funny. It might of been slightly humorous right when it happened because it was "current", but that whole Bale fiasco disappeared in like a day. No one gives a **** about it anymore.

It was a bad joke (incredibly ****ing long too) from the beginning, glad they got rid of it for syndication time.

That was one complaint that I frequently heard even from those who liked it. Some where comparing it to the last two or three chicken fights, you get a chuckle the first time you see it but couldn't help but notice it gets old really fast.

So far, all the season 7 episodes I've seen have been decent but forgettable, save for a few memorable moments. But last nights' episode outright sucked. Nearly every joke in it was stale or predictable (naming canceled Fox shows? I've never heard that one before). All the gay jokes have been done. And been done better. In addition to using dull jokes, the episode seemed to rely heavily on elaborate set-ups for them (the "welcome to America" thing fell completely flat). The only times I even so much as smiled were at the Seth Rogen gene, the horse going through the window, and the clown rape Lifetime movie.

If this episode is any indication of the show's future quality, then "Family Guy" will be due for a mercy killing in another season or two.

A good example of "Family Guy" trying too hard to be like "South Park."

 The Bale joke was the first time Family Guy made fun of anything recent.
Usually "Family Guy's" attempts at being like "South Park" involve trying too hard to be edgy and failing to be funny. Like the beginning of the new episode where the horse goes out of control (I think the announcer says a baby died). Or the "lost city of New Orleans." Or the 9/11 jokes. Or the Cripple Tron. The list could go on.
