did the X3 game ever explain why Nightcrawler wasnt in the Last Stand?

that was it?

Movie explanation, there is none (obviously)

I haven't beaten the game (I got bored after the first couple missions), but apparently, Nightcrawler feels guilty for leaving Jason Stryker behind in the dam complex, resulting in his death, and so he left because he didn't like the violence that accompanies being part of the X-Men.

he found something else to do...maybe got back to the monastery.

That kind of goes without saying. A video game isnt needed to know that nightcrawlers not the type to fight. He was simply caught up in x2. Another issue where the writers had some wiggle room.

I'll tell you why. Because Brett Ratner's an idiot, that's why.

Would you honestly want a repeat of x2? Sabretooth died and people complained, we were introduced to deathstrike then. people complained she died. Nightcrawler left and Ratners an idiot.... didnt Alan swear off other films anyway?

Whatever the reason x3 didnt suffer because of it. Not in my book.

Maybe X3 didn't suffer specifically because Nightcrawler was MIA, but it did suffer because Ratner took the reigns. That's what I'm venting about.

On the x2 dvd Alan was complaining about the makeup and actually called it chinese torture lol. After that there was a report that he declined more films. That sounds like something hed do.

I think I'd have preferred if they went with the classic fuzzy Nightcrawler. Bad decision on Singer's part.

I thought Nightcrawler was the one character that they actually got right.

Fury Ncrawler... i think the normal one's fine. And he thought it was not part of his religeon to fight in a war, to be so... destructive... He feels guilty. However, Ratner wanted nCrawler...

Storm finished him off :csad:

How do we know this?

He said it in a previous Interview that he really wanted to have Night Crawler. However, Cumming thought that after all the make-up, he don't wanna do it anymore >.<
