Who would be the most dangerous villain to merge with it?

I say it's a tie between Doc Oc and Rhino. They're already very formidable foes and having the symbiote merge with them would be disastrous for Spider-Man. Just imagine Rhino's strength heightened by so much.

P.S. - I don't know if something like this ever happened in the comics.

It would be a story idea straight out of the 90s

well doc ock has merged with a symbiote in Spider-Man game for ps1 and GBC

Well, it is most intriguing possibility.

But what if Green Goblin merged with the symbiote?

But...what if...MYSTERIO got the symbiote?Super strength coupled with illusions, he'd mess with your head while he beats ya up.

Well yeah, it's already happened. I think we're speculating about something that hasn't already happened, but with the crap on the four color page lately you never know.

p.s. You may want to take care of that double post oops too, friend.

Not to mention that in a Spider-Man video game I've heard of, I forget which exactly, you (as the webhead) must fight an Octopus merged with the Carnage symbiote. Or more properly, run like bloody hell from an Octopus merged with the Carnage symbiote.

^^^
Spider-Man for PSone and his name was Monster-Ock

If I remember correctly, the Carnage symbiote bonded with Silver Surfer in the comics.
