In the scene with Loki and Agent Coulson on the Helicarrier. What if Loki's staff killed Nick Fury in that scene instead of Agent Coulson.

Since we haven't seen Fury since it's not really a question that can be answered with much depth,

If Fury was in Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 and Cap 2 and then the question was asked it would have more aplicable answers as the landscape of the movies would have been altered.
