What if Marvel made a What If movie? Or a What If TV series?
What If Fantastic Four was given the same treatment that Spider-Man and Iron Man were given? And brought the comic straight to the screen with almost no changes?
What If Bryan Singer directed X-Men 3?
What If James Cameron had directed Spider-Man 1?
What If Cuba Gooding Jr. had played Daredevil?
(because he wanted to)
What If Marvel made a Dr. Strange movie that was totally psycadelic (spelling?)?
Are any of these meant to be answered or no?
Also I think Daredevil still might have been hard to pull off with Mat Damon as DD, and probably would still be bad because of the script they had. But he would have been great.
What If...Someone other than Tim Story had done the FF, and taken an epic approach to it versus just hammering out the movies Story did?
What If...The Director's Cut of Daredevil had been released instead of the theatrical version?
What If...Thor were released and Peter Jackson directed it with Karl Urban? Better yet, What If...Thor had been made a few years ago, and Vladimir Kulich had been Thor?
What If...Someone released Marvel Team Up movies with Spiderman and another hero?
What If...Galactus had actually appeared in FF: RotSS?
What If Spider-Man 1 had used Gwen Stacey instead of Mary Jane?
What If Green Goblin's costume looked more like the comic instead of the flight armor?
What If the X-Men had their comic costumes designed like Spider-Man did in their movie?
(meaning, what if the movie used their comic costumes but altered them like Spider-Man's was for the movie?)
What If Daredevil was shown to be more of a Ninja in the movie rather than a leather clad vigilantee?
Totally, I was thinking of it like a live action "Twilight Zone" type show.
But an animated "What If: Marvel" would be so much better and more awesome.
They could even switch animation styles on some episodes. Like use the X-Men: Evolution style on one, and Iron Man animated style on another. And then even go back to the past animated styles of X-Men and Spider-Man, and even use the CG spider-man on one episdoe.
It would be cheap and fast to make, easier than a live action show. And the characters have always tranfered better from comics to cartoons, rather than live action.
Great thinking, now I really want that.
Also,
What If Marvel's superhero movies all existed in one world so that the characters could possibly cross over into eachother's films?
(for example, have Punisher make an appearence in a Spider-man film. Or have the X-Men or mutants be mentioned in a Spider-Man film. Or have Wolverine meet the Punisher or Hulk. Have the Avengers fight Magneto, or have Daredevil versus Punisher.)
What if Jack Nicholson played Wolverine back in 1975?
What if Glenn Danzig had been cast as Wolverine in the X-Men movie?
What if Russel Crow had been cast as Wolverine?
What if the first X-Men movie had been all about the original five (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Ice Man, Beast) ?
Probably would have done poorly like the comics.
What if X-Men had spot lighted every single character? Giving each character a moment to shine and gave each about the same amount of screen time?
Sort of like The Dirty Dozen or Rat Race. So Cyclops and Storm had just as much screen time as Rogue or Wolverine.
and then each X-Men movie fallowed that pattern of being a large cast movie that focussed on each and every character.
What if Punisher had been more about him killing random criminals around New York rather than him attacking one mob family?
What if Punisher didn't have John Travolta?
What if Orson Welles had made a Batman movie after Citizen Kane?
