Spidey will still be better off than he was before. A "bad" movie by Marvel's standards is a non-rotten critic score, a great audience score, and a profitable box office. Most studios would kill to get movies as "bad" as that.

It will be forgiven as it feeds the brand same with the bad MCU movie previously. Though with the initial reaction people will blame SONY and not Marvel

Not really. A bad Spider-Man or even good Spider-Man movie from SONY has people against it because it's not Marvel and Marvel gets tons of slack because people hold them on a pedestal.

No matter the quality of the movie people will call it better than anything SONY ever did just because it's part of the MCU
