Was it something poignant, or you just felt like trying something new, or has it been the same piece of **** you've had since you were still clinging to the teat of potty training?

I shave my head, but didn't start doing so until 1996. I normally got the fade cuts, but my mom decided to cut my hair herself one weekend because the barbershop was closed early and we had some family event to go to, and basically....she ****ed it up. Big time. So I had a friend come over and basically shave it bald, and I have been doing it since. :awesome:

I wanted highlights, but it went very wrong and half my head turned out bleached. So, to fix it I dyed it multiple shades of blonde and now I just keep it that way, looks very natural :)

Though I miss dying my hair red (not orange, but red) deeply :(

All I did was I found a hairstyle that didn't make me look stupid and stuck with it.

I haven't had a haircut since winter. That's about it.

After rocking braids for so long, I just got tired of it. Plus, I hated to keep having someone re-braid my hair every other week.

Urm.

I don't really know, I guess it's 'coz I'm a teenager.

I'm sure I'll have something more conservative by my mid 30's. XD

I'm getting married in a year. I've got a job where I work from home. I'm already accepted into my school. This is the one year where I get to look like complete and utter **** with no conequences. . . so I'm letting my beard get real curly and my hair get real mullety.

Started losing my hair, so I started shaving it really short.

My hair has receded a little so I keep it a bit shorter than my usual long look.

I had hair that hung past my shoulder blades until I was 30. Family and friends would make comments like "you are too old to have that hairstyle now". I would respond by saying, "if I ever decide to cut it, it's all going to go. The only person that believed this was my wife.

Then came a period in the early spring when my hair became particularly unruly because of unusually dry temps in my area. I told the wife it was time and I've been shaving my head for the last 7 years. The looks on my family/friends faces when they saw me bald for the first time were priceless.

I decided in 1985 that I would be a Metal fan for the rest of my life, so I grew my hair long.

25 years later and, turns out I was right!

I change my hair and facial hair every few months. Right now I'm letting them both get long so I can have a template to work with.

My hair is naturally curly and I used to wear it as such. Everybody used to ask me if I had a "curl"! LOL! I just got tired of maintaining the style so now I keep it a lot shorter. A little longer on top and short on the sides.

My hair is pretty thick so it's easier to manage if I just cut the sides shorter and leave the hair longer at top.

I'm not saying i look like him at all, but my hair (and facial hair) style is similar to Depp's in The Secret Window. Minus the bad dye job.

I was tired of having shaggy nappy hair, so I shaved my head.

Mostly kept my hair neat and short, since 9th grade. Around the age of 25, Mrvlknight bet me something - can't remember - but if I lost I had to shave my head. I lost.

After that, I vowed I would never shave my head again. So now I get a hair cut about once, every two months. So I guess. . shaggy look.

Why are you frauding? You DID NOT shave your head. I did shave my head. You cut your hair short ( a few inches were still there), there is a major difference. I have pictures as proof.

Anyways, yes, you look shaggy as hell right now.

I propose a hair versus hair match to be televised on PPV for all the Hype to see.
Or a loser leaves town match...oh wait, you are already one step ahead of me on that one.

To the point: True. I cut my hair shorter than what it was, but the reasoning behind my *****ebag hair style still remains.

Slightly bi 1940s businessmen.

Genetics. Can't really do anything with it since the hairline is receding so I just go bald. Just as well. I look better that way. At least I still have facial hair to work with. Goatee and elvis-like sideburns. My favorite.

So I usually have a Leon Kennedy style hair cut because I love having bangs and just let it get semi long from there.

So I cut it tuesday along with shaving off my scruff on my face. I feel/look domesticated, professional and boring.

I can't wait for it to grow longer again.
