What is the best brand of HDMI cable in the 25 feet range?

You are doing the right thing and buying them from Amazon, retail stores will rip you off big time. As for the length it doesn't matter when it comes to signal. If 25 ft is sufficient for you then buy it on amazon. I bought all my HDMI cables from amazon and they work perfectly.

It's true, there's no appreciable difference between the cheap and expensive ones as far as the signal is concerned. It's a scam. I always get the Amazon brand myself; I don't know that they come in 25 though. I'm sure you're fine with what you picked.

Monster elite cables are designed better than a lot of the cheapy ones on the market, honestly. I use them in gigging and in the studio. The type of equipment you have makes a big difference too. But I digress... At that length I don't think you have to worry about signal loss or anything so it probably doesnt matter. Unless of course you plan on running that cable in the wall and/or through your crawl space..?

Yeah, don't waste $60 on a HDMI cable. I made the mistake of buying one of those "monster cables" because I needed it right then. That cable broke after a year. I brought one from Amazon for under $5 and it hasn't failed me yet.

But... Monster replaces all their defective cables free of charge.

I buy all of my cables from monoprice. Great product and amazing prices. As far as the length goes, it depends on the devices you are using. At 25 ft you could have degredation or you might not. You won't know until it gets connected and you are up and running. The big thing is to make sure the cable is as straight as possible from point a to b. HDMI is very shaky when it gets twisted or if it is bent. Good luck.
